“I’m convinced this is the last place on the planet having the combination of an awesome atmosphere, amazing service, great prices and great food and an incredible view! Stopped on our way out of LAS from SGU and did not disappoint. The waitresses were so kind and friendly. The atmosphere and decor in this place were so fun. We had three kids under 7 and we felt right at home. Finding it was tough, it was inside the airport building upstairs. Food was great, didn’t pay over $10 a meal. You made return customers out of this family of 5 every time we come through Vegas. Well done Sunshine & Tailwinds- keep doing what you’re doing! They were busy with a lot of customers, however, George quickly acknowledged us as we came in with a smile and a warm welcome, he then said us down, gave us our menus and took our drink orders. He then went to the other tables in assisted them in the most professional way. You can tell they were low staff this evening however, they made it look seamless. “I’ve been to the first location multiple times and it was always super busy but I didn’t mind waiting because the food was always so good . Now that they have 2 locations wait time isn’t bad at all . They have new drinks and the mimosas are delicious. My husband and I always get chilaquiles and pancakes but always try a different plate when we go and nothing ever disappoints . My daughter loves the quesadillas de birria. They’re service is always the best the waitresses are so nice and always very helpful. Fernanda is our favorite and she’s now at the second location so that is where we will continue to go.“
“Located inside the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (CALV), the Westside Bistro is a full-service restaurant run by students in training. I've been here several times for lunch and always had great experiences. First of all, the prices for lunch are inexpensive for what you get. The lunch menu has salads (chopped, Caesar) sandwiches (BLT, roasted tomato grilled cheese, buttermilk fried chicken, turkey melt), entrees (blackened salmon, fried catfish and fries, roasted chicken), desserts (cherry cobbler cheesecake, seasonal fruit crisp), and espresso drinks. There is plenty of seating, including counter seats. On my most recent visit, I had a terrific steak and frites entree (grilled steak, parmesan fries, truffle aioli) for $14.00. The students are professional and give excellent service; it's evident that CALV is doing a great job there.“

“Texas Roadhouse is a great restaurant. The staff were friendly and very professional. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. We visited on Thursday just after 3, and there was no wait. The bread is delicious and served hot. You can also request peanuts. All the food was served hot. The steak was cooked just as requested. The baked potato was also cooked perfectly. The skin was soft and covered in salt. There is a special menu with select dinners for $12.99 Mon-Thur until 5pm. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The temperature in the restaurant was a bit cold so bring a sweater.Parking: Parking all around the restaurant. Handicapped parking right by the entrance.“

“I love having this place in my neighborhood. I indulged myself today with Steak and Eggs for breakfast. Donated blood yesterday, rebuilding. The steak was delicious, the eggs cooked perfectly, and the home fries worthy of mention. Now as to atmosphere - everyone was friendly, the waitress managed multiple tables and still had time to check on everyone. And there was sports on multiple TVs. Up to you if consider this a positive. I did.“

Age varies around 40-50 and it seems the jukebox reflects the same attitude with songs all from the late 70's to the early 80's that are starting to be annoying after the first hour.Food was the graveyard menu (it was 3: am) but were great hot and plentiful. The owner operates out of a Ghost kitchen but preps and cooks his food like he's at a 5 star diner. Great for picknup or deliver.The owner/Chef will greet you with a smile and proudly present you with his high quality creations. My wife and I had the Philly Mac and Cheese as well as the "under the Sea Scampi Mac". I gotta tell you, I'm hooked. Priced right for what you will get.I would absolutely recommend this.“
