“Went for the beef rib but it wasn't available that day. Brisket was dry and needed sauce. Mashed potatoes were fine. The "mac" n cheese is made with penne, which doesn't chew the same. Baked beans made with pork so didn't try it. Collard greens made with pork so didn't try it. The side of fries is a medley of straight-cut, criss-cut, curly, crinkle, and sweet potato. Still want to try the beef rib and pulled chicken. They have a beef hot link on the menu but I didn't see regular beef links. I'd go back for takeout, but cook my own veggies without pork.“
“Ohh my god ,this place will bring you back in time ,the food is amazing, the restaurant is beautiful, the service is amazing, menu is huge I didn't know what to get ,I end up with the texas plate ,pull pork sandwich and apple with icecream ?“
“The service was fast and friendly and knew the menu. Had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are drop style versus cut and had a great flavor. The gravy was thick with nice pieces of sausage in it. It is slightly sage forward, so if you don't like sage, you won't like it. I live on the other side of town, but will be back“
