“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Best Landing Ever — 10/10 Would Fall Again” So there I was, minding my own business, enjoying the in-flight peanuts at 35,000 feet, when gravity decided to spice things up. One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “We had the chili crunch sandwiches. One had chicken, other with tofu. Very flavorful and unique! The chicken one didn't habe alot of actual meat, but rather plenty of slaw. Came with inpressove side salad too! Overall good sandwich, but would try something different next time.“

“Absolutely outstanding!! As someone with gluten, dairy, soy, egg white, and oat allergies, it is nearly impossible to feel safe eating out. Troi exchanged multiple emails with me to further inquire about my needs and to make suggestions on what I could eat. He knew not only the ingredients in each dish, but whether each ingredient was safe! For instance, their tomatillos are processed in a facility that also handles wheat, so he said to steer clear of that salsa, but if I could handle heat, I could eat their CK Red salsa. They were transparent about everything and he said to ask for Tami when we arrived. We did, and she introduced herself. She's the owner and is GF, with a sensitive daughter as well, so nothing gets by them. You can tell when people love their work, and it is evident here. I felt cared for and you can taste it in every bite, from the amazing pulled pork carnitas and crispy smashed potatoes to their yummy decaf coffee (which, let's face it, is rarely good anywhere). My friend inhaled her vegan avocado tacos and we immediately made plans to come back for Sunday brunch. Plus it's easy to find, roomy and classy with indoor and outdoor dining options. So happy to have found these folks!“

“My boyfriend and I went to the Merrillville, IN location once and it was by FAR the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. I was really excited to try the food after hearing good things. He got a burger and I had their 3 course prime rib special. His burger had absolutely no flavor but far worse was my "prime rib." This thing had the texture of overcooked ham. I took one bite and literally lost my appetite. Extremely disappointed and will not be back.“

“My work just did a huge lunch order for our holiday lunch today and the food was absolutely phenomenal!! Everyone was stuffed and plates were cleaned! “We have been here a few times now and every time we do it’s great service and super yummy food! We have so many favorites and the portions are large also.“

“Love the fact that as a non smoker, The Bar has an extra dose of clean air so all can enjoy! The food is spot on and Whitney and Melissa are totally a team! No matter who you order from the other shows up 2 minutes later with the food! James, the bar back, has been cleaning and inspecting the glasses for cracks as well! Who does that? Very impressed and glad we went a little further from our normal neighborhood spots to try The Bar again! We had a few happy hour items that were great! Tempura Asparagus is amazing! Whitney saw that I did not use the sauce and brought me another choice 🙏!

Maya was working the whole time cleaning the tables and maintaining order. I want to bring my adult kids here and challenge them to darts or golf! With several video games and an outside area the space is large and well appointed!“

We ain't no ho, so we chase em foos out da door to the freeway entrance and we blasted em with the burner and turnt dat G37 and day Escalade into a Switzerland style cheese. Ain't nobody know we dunnit.“
