“Had the best experience with Merena and the delicious food. Comfortable environment, It came out the kitchen quickly, Merena was a breath of fresh air, and I will definitely be coming back to eat with you guys. “The consistency has really improved and we often stop in for to-go orders or sometimes dining with my mom. Steak specials are always a great value with a side, plus soup or salad. The burger feels hearty and cooked thoroughly, but not dry at medium well; it pairs nicely with the seasoned steak fries. Breakfast is really filling and ideal for sharing because I can’t finish one meal by myself.
Specials are a fun way to explore the menu. There are daily specials, and also monthly. For August 2026, they have a popular Parmesan Crusted Cajun Chicken Sandwich , with a warm crisp toast, savory sauce, and thick piece of chicken. My husband really loves this sandwhich and the server said many patrons enjoy it!
Parking is easy as there are many spots surrounding the restaurant. Easy ingress and egress off Sunridge Heights and Eastern. Clean interior and lots of booth seating.“

“Awesome food & generous portions for a VERY reasonable price. Daily specials and a different soup every day, as well as a monthly special. The Chicken Pot Pie is deliciously my favorite! The staff is friendly and provides great service.“

“Three of us decided that we wanted fish and chips. We each were served three large pieces of fish that had been fried perfectly. Two out of the three of us were not able to eat all of our meal and took our leftovers home with us.
Daily specials are offered. On Tuesday the special is pot roast. That's what I plan to order the next time I go on a Tuesday.“

“Our first night in town and we went to the Pub, Jorge was amazing, Super friendly and recommended a really yummy IPA and I loved it without having to try it. The atmosphere was so much fun, vibes were great and I hope we get to go more before we leave town. I totally recommend this Pub to all. So much fun!! (The IPA is the local one also Incase anyone want to try it. Forgot the name)“

“You need more server’s like Andy. He was top notch. This was not my 1st time but Andy made everything easy and was friendly. I will definitely request Andy next time I come to the Tavern. Food was excellent as well as the drinks. Thank you Andy you are amazing.“
