Idk what happened but this place must have been bought out. Seemed like the recipes changed and not for the better. Teriyaki sauce almost like jelly and the chicken had such a weird taste. In my opinion this place is extremely over priced for what you get and the quality

Food was good. Small spot. Okay space. Friendly service. Prices were okay since plates were big.

So we ordered food thru Grubhub. I ordered a Local Plate and the teriyaki beef was the worst. Tough, chewy and I filled up the macaroni cup with all the bad meat. Kinda felt I got all fat trimmed chewy meat. Sorry but we will start looking at other places to eat. We have order numerous times from here, but the food quality seems to lack.

The lady at the register was very very sweet and kind.... But I'm not sure how this place has over 4 stars although I see most negative reviews are recent. Anyway, I'm a Hawaii local and chef of 30 years and this was the worst loco moco I've ever had. Ever. The patty was meh, the eggs were meh, but the gravy was disgusting. Pale brown and filled with little coagulated lumps. Nasty not too mention loco moco should have a dark brown gravy. Kim chi was ok but sweet. Not sure how they're in business.

The food was extremely disappointing. The fish was flavorless. The beef was filled with cartilage and gristle. The chicken was soggy. The quality of meat is very low and the sauce isn't great. Also, there was no sauce for the fish.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant looked nice inside, but I'll never go back because the food was such a let down.

Solid Hawaiian food and opened late late! They definitely come in handy when you want great stuff at a late hour. The menu is huge. My favorite thing is probably the adobo fried rice inside of the omelet.

Dec 24... Tried the tapsilog, toughest beef I ever had.... I only ended up eating like half of the meat....the other half I just chewed and chewed and chewed, until I just gave up

Had the chicken, beef, and spam combo... Chicken was great, I liked how it had a little crunch... Spam is spam, wish there were 2 pieces tho... Beef was bleh, I didn't really like it... Overall I will get it again but most likely swap beef for something else
