Aroma Latin American Cocina

The best dinner we had during our trip to Las Vegas, hands down. Traveling off the strip to visit Aroma, we were surprised by how far out of the way it was, nestled in a little strip mall, an unassuming little spot with incredible food.

We ordered the guacomole, which was such an unexpected treat including it's presentation of smoke rolling out of the bowl. It was unlike any guacamole I'd tasted before. We ordered a varied plate of tacos, including perfectly crispy pork belly, and beef birria, all amazing. We also had the beef short ribs in mole, and chicken tinga enchiladas. Every single bite was unbelievable.

We're both disheartened that our favorite restaurant of all time is 2200 miles from where we live. Anytime we're in Vegas, we make it a point to stop in and bring friends. What a special hidden gem of Las Vegas. I can't praise Aroma enough.

Dude, this is the spot! Completely unassuming strip mall hides this culinary heaven. I'm blown away at how good the food is. The pork belly tacos were supposed to be the highlight from a well respected food reviewer. They were really good. However, the shrimp taco took my breath away. This place is Michelin quality food.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The flavors are incredible and the atmosphere is very nice. It's more on the romantic side but our kids loved it too.

One thing I would note is the special, Guatemalan Enchiladas, is VERY different from Mexican style. Some might know this already but people unfamiliar with latin cusine will not without a heads up. It was very tasty and I enjoyed it but it might help to describe it a bit so others are not surprised.

We will definitely be back.

We saw Keith’s review about this place and decided to give it a go and boy were we glad we did! The burger sandwich was 20/10. Don’t forget the horchata and discontented cheese cake. Already planning our next trip there.

Incredibly delicious and beautiful presentation. Beef rib, pork belly street tacos and the dia de Los muertos special menu. Wow. This is a must if you are anywhere nearby. DO NOT MISS OUT on this amazing food.

A hidden gem with a James Beard award winning chef. Don’t let the strip mall energy turn you away, the chef really cares about food and it’s obvious. You need to go here.

Waitress was so nice and talked about some of the dishes and gave great recommendations. Food was incredibly fresh and well made. Unique Brazilian and Peruvian dishes would love so much for an opportunity to come back here.

Four of us had one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. While the outside is unpretentious, set in a strip mall, the interior is lovely, the service warm and helpful, and the meal was delicious. We started with the amazing chimichurri butter and toasted bread, the salad, a ceviche, and the avocado tartare rolls then shared the shrimp with Caesar salad, the amazing beef short rib, and the beef. For dessert we had the cheesecake and the bunuelos. Everything was wonderful. We highly recommend Aroma!

Absolutely wonderfully curated culinary experience. Feels like going to an intimate family restaurant. The mango salad is a must. The short ribs ... the shrimp ... the bread & butter! One of the best chefs in the valley. Honestly.

Incredibly delicious! Short Rib Molé and Grilled Picanha definitely recommended. Try the charcuterie too!

Amazing restaurant went here with my wife for a date night. Nice ambience and cozy. Food was BOMB!! Pork belly tacos were amazing so tasty and tortilla was freshly made. We loved the shrimp and salad it was great. Picanha dish is also amazing you get all these amazing sides with it. 10/10 food and experience. This is our 2nd time coming here, definitely will be back!

Visiting from Atlanta for work, I stumbled upon Aroma through a simple online search. When our Uber dropped us off, we paused for a moment—was this the right place? From the outside, it's pretty unassuming. But step inside, and it's a different story: small, inviting, and tastefully designed. The menu was full of tempting options, so we decided to skip entrées and go all-in on appetizers to sample a wider variety. And we're so glad we did—every single bite was bursting with flavor. Aroma has officially earned a spot on my must-visit list whenever I'm in Vegas. Highly recommend.
