This place surprised us. So we walk in and the decor is super fancy. Feels like dining at a restaurant on the Strip. I honestly felt underdressed for the place with shorts and a T-shirt. All of the staff are clean-cut and attentive. I could tell from this alone that the prices wouldn't be cheap which was confirmed when we got the menu. Not going to lie, it put us off at first as well as the fact that chips and salsa are not free. Keep this in mind if you go here. Our attitudes turned around real quick when our queso fundido came out. It was the best we've had and, had a nice crust at the bottom, and the tortillas were clearly homemade. We were waiting in anticipation for our chicken and fish tacos after that. They ended up using the same fantastic shells for the tacos. This makes us wonder if there's something special about the chips that make them worth the surcharge. The tacos were one of the lesser expensive items on the menu and the price matches that of other restaurants. Most of the other entrees, you'll be spending in the $20s or beyond. The fish tacos are downright phenomenal. They came with rice and whole black beans. I prefer refried, but you may like them whole. Our churros for dessert were fantastic and came with two tasty dipping sauces. I love the convenience of using a QR code on the receipt to pay with your phone. We still let the waiter know we paid before we left. We're coming back for my birthday. Be prepared to spend extra here, but I think it's worth it.

Initially, checking in- waited along time to be noticed or greeted at the door. Might have caught them on a bad day- but service was really slow for Vegas. Everything took forever! Salsa was “hot sauce” style- didn’t care for it. Never got my water refilled. Drinks took 20 plus minutes to get , even a bottle of beer. Food was mid- (besides the table slide guac/chips which was really good.) It was strip prices for sub par food and service. For the price, I wouldn’t go back again. Decor was cute. Bathroom was one gender neutral for the whole restaurant.

Best Mexican food I have had in Nevada. Cordial staff-lovely decor and ambience-and most importantly, excellent food prepared with care. Will be my place of choice in Henderson/ Las Vegas-?????Dietary restrictions: I had the chille relleno breakfast burrito for lunch. They kindly substituted churrizo for guacamole, and this was the best burrito I ever had.

Not this run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Home made corn tortillas are very good. Owner was there ensuring everything ran well. And that the food met expectation. Highly recommended. Wine was reasonably priced.

Another restaurant that’s extremely loud. They charge WAY too much for chips & salsa. We had the molcajete, which was fantastic! Except for the chicken pieces, which were very dry. Everything is over priced for the atmosphere. If it were quieter & a more private dining experience, then I would understand. But it’s all table seating & too many hard surfaces to reflect sound.

What stands out first is the decor; its textures are inviting; the perfect mix of classy and casual. Patrons can feel comfortable in jeans or dressed to the nines. I started with a cocktail called El Rey, their version of an old fashioned. Delicious. Then corn esquites and tableside guacamole, also perfection. We had chicken enchiladas and Birria tacos for entrees and finished with homemade churros. It's not cheap, but we felt the prices were justified.Edit: Just went for brunch this morning. Also excellent. The only complaint is that the pancakes were a little dry. All other dishes were excellent. Highly recommend huevos rancheros.

Tacos were plain, but okay. The corn was also plain, but okay. The salsa wasn't anything addicting or something I'd want to come back for. The churros fell apart as we ate them. The restaurant was hot, I was literally having hot flashes at lunch. They said they'd turn it on, but they didn't.We won't be back. The decor is super pretty tho! Maybe a good place for a drink or a date night because it's dark and a vibe.

I usually don't like to give high recommendations as everyone has their own preferences, but I must say that Ayayay restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The hospitality, food, and drinks are incredible and it's a must-try. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed without any awkward moments. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. Ayayay, and his dedication to running the business and setting high expectations for his staff is truly admirable. He goes above and beyond for his guests. Trust me, this place is a must-visit!

I wish I could give this restaurant 6 out of 5 on atmosphere. It’s so well designed, I would like to know who did it. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a high end Mexican food right in a heart of Henderson. From table side guacamole to tomahawk to churros, food was great and cocktail list was unique. Can’t wait to check out their brunch menu.
