I read some reviews and for the most part, they were pretty good. I wanted a place that had good ambience, food, service, and affordable. I was taken aback at how Black Mountain Grill surpassed all of those requirements. I can't say enough about this restaurant. It really is a hidden gem. Everything was outstanding. I had to try to the Kung Po Short Rib out of curiosity, and was blown away. I've had short ribs at other high end restaurants and none compared. The services...
Food was wonderful. I recommend the Halibut, Chicken Piccata, pork chop. Desserts were all 5 star. Service very good. Only issue is when it came to pay they don't do separate checks so we spent 20 minutes dividing the check. They need to update their pay system to where you pick what you had and pay so customers don't have to split it.
This is a hidden gem. Black Mountain Grill is cozy, yet bougie. We got the big ass pretzel as an app and you guessed it...it was a tasty big as pretzel. So good! Staff is friendly and prompt. Get the Buffalo Shrimp!
