Great bagels. Tasty pastries. Perfect ambiance for a simple yet absolutely enjoyable breakfast or lunch.
Decor: Open, flooded with natural light, someone put in thought & effort into creating a welcoming space.Customer Service: Greeted once I reached the cashier. Staff was knowledgeable & listed the type of bagels available to me. They also checked in on me if i needed anything else in the middle of my meal, which is a plus.Food: Had the decker special with a garlic bagel, generous serving of cream cheese along with the salmon.Overall, a nice place to have a quick bite over bagels & coffee
I was skeptical. My family is from back east and this is a thirty minute drive from where I live (Boulder City). I was not disappointed! I got my food to go but even when I got home it was great, not soggy or cold. The egg cream tastes like one you get in NYC. We had the Blintz, which was the best I’ve ever had, the Matza ball soup, an onion bagel with the lox - everything down to the coffee was amazing and worth the prices- which are more than fair! I will be back.
So excited to have a place like this on the south side! Food, menu, and staff were equally excellent! Had the mushroom and chive omelette with home potatoes and bagel. Their schmears are homemade… the veggie actually has chopped veggies in it. So good!
First time here, great customer service and tasty bagels. Definitely will be back.
It seems like the business is more for those who would be interested in brunch/mimosas. We went the first few weeks the business opened and was asked to be patient because the location had just opened and some things on the menu may not be available. We hadn’t even ordered yet.But the over all experience was good and the waitress was friendly. The dining room area seemed small. There was a pretty long line for bagels to go.
These are NOT traditional NY bagels. They were doughy, deflated, with no crust or shine. These bagels scream West Coast bagels. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe the dough didn’t rise, etc. I don’t know. But bagels should have a firmness to them. The Lev Group needs to work with Sonia to tweak the food.
Love Chef Sonia and her amazing Bagels. Every item on her menu is incredible!!
A very unique New York style bagel shop has finally opened on Eastern Ave.( near intersection of St. Rose Parkway) .Bodega Bagel is the product of years of bagel-making by bagel legend chef - owner Sonia El-Nawal.This New York style bagel shop has very special menu options with variety of different bagel sandwiches, breakfast menu, chef’s special salads, etc.Bagels are very fresh, soft and delicious. Everything is prepared per order, bagels are baked fresh daily, muffins as well. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very inviting and clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The general manager is extremely attentive and friendly. We had a great experience and can’t wait to be back.Highly recommended!!!
Big fan of when they were at the Vegas test kitchen and I always got a lox bagel. The place is cute. This was their first week and they were pretty packed when I went which I don't mind the customer service being kind of just okay. I did stand at the front for a good 10-15 minutes before being addressed which seemed a little odd as they were seating the other people that were behind me (they were first in line though). I ordered the lox eggs and the flavor was kind of meh surprisingly.

After trying Bodega Bagel during their run at Vegas Test Kitchen, I was excited for them to open their own location. I went in this morning knowing that it was their first weekend and that there would probably be a few hiccups. What I experienced was so much worse though. The word disaster comes to mind.We were sat quickly and excited to order. Their space is beautiful. But when the waitress took our order things took a turn. "What kind of bagels do you have today?" A simple question that seemed to completely flummox our server. She responded "the normal kind, I don't really know"... couldn't make it up if I tried. After the painful ordering experience, we waited. And waited. And waited some more.55 minutes it took for our food to be delivered. She brings out 3/4 meals and then asks if we need anything else. Yes ma'am, I'd like the rest of my order. She tells us "they" messed up. We then waited another 30 minutes for the entree which was literally two fried eggs, bacon, and potatoes. As for the food, my husband enjoyed his lox and eggs & the bagels were good. The challah French toast was somehow dry and soggy at the same time. I ordered the brisket and eggs. It was inedible. Charred and unseasoned. Not under seasoned, completely unseasoned. It was reminiscent of my grandmothers pot roast and she makes horrible pot roast. The potatoes were also over cooked, mushy and terribly bland.I can forgive service hiccups at a new establishment but I can't forgive the mess that came out of the kitchen. If you're going for anything other than bagels to-go, I'd find somewhere else.
Yummy bagels, soft chewy & fresh. The atmosphere is nice and they have a lot of options on the menu. I was offered coffee while waiting for my food which was very nice. I will say I wish that the cream cheese was a little creamier and easier to spread but the taste of it is great. Would definitely come back to this lovely bagel shop!
I'm reticent ever to leave a bad review, but this place called for it. My personal experience is based on purchasing a dozen bagels this morning. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. This place promotes themselves as NY-style bagels. Their cooking process might use water but their bagels are not up to NY standards. Holes are too big and they weren't fresh at 9:30a. Also, no egg bagels?? In a place that says NY? No blueberry bagels? The prices are high. Then I sent my son over with his boss for lunch, in case eating there would be a better experience (the place looks nice) but he was horrified. The service was the worst! The waitress was completely untrained and had a bad attitude and then they get the bill for two bagel sandwiches and the bill is $68!! You gotta be kidding. Won't be going back.
