I brought my mother to this location expecting to have a nice meal with her. We walked in to a fully staffed kitchen and no line. So we made our selections and proceeded to stand and wait to be serviced. As we stood there one employee said that someone would be right with us. We then proceeded to stand and stare at the entire crew standing around laughing and talking while they restocked the prep area. Various employees kept looking at us but none seemed to want to help us. The employee who said someone would be right with us continued to cut up meat for the prep table whilst periodically looking up at us. At a point I asked the employee infront of me if he was going to serve us? The employee never responded nor looked up at me once. We finally announced that we would just leave then since they didn't want to serve us. It wasn't until we got to the door that an employee finally said, wait we can serve you. At that point I was already over the entire experience. They obviously didn't want to serve us or else they would have when I asked them if they were going too. Will not be returning to this location due to terrible customer service.

Was already six minutes over on. My DoorDash delivery told me it was gonna be another 10 minutes for rice. Costed me a seven dollar order.

Great variety for a different lunch. The shredded chicken is always dry so avoid that...switched to fire grilled chicken and it is a great addition to the meal. Get a salad with the lettuce on the bottom...they put way too much lettuce otherwise. Employees Have trouble when asking for specific food changes. Prices have really gone up.

Food is good but this location has probably the slowest service EVER. Staff moves like sloths. I ordered a chicken quesadila and it was basically all cheese. Worst Rio location in

Waited a week to post so I wouldn't post angry and be fair. No line and didn't have to wait, but the younger man at the start of the line wasn't exactly happy to see me. Ordered nachos, chips weren't full before adding toppings. Proceeded to put the shredded cheese on before asking if I wanted that or queso. Ended up walking out but went back in instead of driving to another location another 20 minutes away. Manager remade my food and actually listened to what I wanted, but I've had it made better before, which was frustrating also because if you're fixing a problem you expect the details to be paid more attention to. Was offered a free drink due to the issues, when i got to the drink area all the teas and lemonades were empty, area was dirty and sticky. May go back, may not. Haven't decided if the frustration is worth it

We really enjoy Cafe Rio. It used to be 5 stars across the board but little things have changed.Food can be great but also random. Tortillas are generally fantastic. Quantity: Since the meat is placed by the preparer by whim, sometimes I can barely find the pork in my pork burrito when we order online is the most likely. Sometimes it is just all in the center or on one side of the burrito. Wish they'd be consistent. When made well, I really enjoy them. Flavors are great, they have a good product. They used to provide small nino quesadillas with adult meals if you had children. At one point with a little slice of strawberry as a cute garnishment. Now we get charged for the quesadillas most of the time. (Haven't seen the strawberry in a long while, not important by itself but maybe an indicator of going from small to larger corporation.)Enchillada style. I've never have liked the idea of charging an extra $1 for sauce on top.So with a little care, like feedback with the preparer if they run out of something and try to short your food, knowing their upcharged items vs included ones, and using their really good rewards program, we still recommend them.Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cheese. Ordering without cheese online is 50/50 at best, they usually don't mark it separately from others in the order and often add cheese anyway. In line it's easier because you can watch.Kid-friendliness: Free nino quesadillas were great, not consistent any longer but worth asking for.Wheelchair accessibility: They typically have lots of access at their take out counter. That doesn't require navigating the line.
