Incompetent employees that physically threaten customers
We came in right after some kind of altercation. The police arrived right after I picked up my food.
We ordered over $80 in sandwiches.
The food was literally inedible. I’ve eaten at Capriotti’s 50+ times, and this was by far the worst. The cheesesteak was burnt to the consistency of jerky.
The Bobbie had a huge dollop of cranberry sauce in one end of the sandwich, and all the turkey on the other end.
The Capistrami meat was rubbery like a band-aid. It looked like the cheese had been on there for over a day.
I would have been better off eating a hundred dollar bill.

Takes a long time to make a sandwich, so order ahead (not specific to this location). I've enjoyed eating here in the past. Small sandwich is a large elsewhere, large portions. Prices a little on the high side.
Extremely clean store! Austin at the front was super helpful in helping me on what to order because I had no clue what to get! Bomb food great atmosphere and a very clean store! 10/10 would recommend!

I went in to get a sandwich I haven't gotten one in a while I haven't been feeling good dealing with cancer so tonight I thought I'd get one and I went in and I asked for a Philly cheesesteak with the sweet peppers I can't do hot with chemo the sandwich was covered in hot peppers I actually think the pink haired did it on purpose cuz I had a few requests for my sandwich I normally don't have it so detailed but this time I did because of my health concerns it seemed that the girl got upset I wasn't even able to eat the sandwich which was disappointing they used to have a really good crew working and now it seems like these braid girls are offended if you ask for something I guess they really don't like to honor preferences I will not be going to this capriotti's again

If I wanted a loaf of bread and a couple slices of pastrami I would have went to walmart. $23 for a loaf of bread is a disgrace. I will not be back
Love the menu, but this franchise differs drastically from location to location. This particular one was bad. I usually drive farther to Stephanie St. where i know its good, but was in a hurry and picked up here on Boulder. Ordered online, showed up and the place was empty aside from what I assume was an employee's girlfriend eating pizza. I assume this because an employee joined her while I waited. I had two sandwiches, minor modification. Think 1 add this, 1 no this add that. Both were wrong. Meat was less than usual. Not a slight on Capriotti's as a company but this location and Horizon Ridge are just bad.

Usually love this location… Walked in at 830pm and the lady said she turned off the grill already so cold sandwiches only. 30 minutes before closing you turned the grill off when closing at 9.

3 star UPDATED- business did reach out to remedy issues.
1 star: Ordered a half sub half salad, with a soda and Cole slaw combo. The salad was less than fresh, lettuce was not edible. Could not eat. Cole slaw was soggy and smooshy with no flavor, tasted like slimy water. Would not eat. Super disappointed as I have loved this combo in the past. The hot sandwich was cold but at least edible. Best thing of the order was the bottled Pepsi.

I’m in awe of this Capriotties location. Never have I received a sandwich so lovingly crafted by the hands of such a talented man.
(The cold Bobby) We had the pleasure of being served by Austin the manager and had a wonderful discussion where he regaled his well travelled life and managerial excellence . There is no better man than Austin, this sandwich is an art and he is a travesty.

The manager is not doing her job here. Yesterday afternoon went to get a sandwich. The employee-provided boom box was so loud, you could barely hear yourself think. I had to ask them to turn it down. I ordered a an 8" sandwich and got a 10" (more expensive sandwich), and was charged for the bigger sandwich before I knew what was happening. The tables in the store were dirty -- hadn't been wiped in a while. The floor around the tables were littered with crumbs, so the floor hadn't been swept in a while.. And I was one of only two customers. Finally, the store was out of napkins, according to the young woman at the counter. What? A restaurant had run out of a basic sanitary item? How can a manager let that happen?
If this is how the front of the store is managed, I'm afraid to know the sanitary conditions in the kitchen.
Don't go here.
