Del Taco is a good place to go for good cheap tacos, especially their Taco Tuesday and Taco Thursday promos. They're not the best, but they're quick and cheap. That's all I'm after.

Today's Del Taco on Pecos is not what it is to be. Walk in customers wait.... Wait.... For our order to be taken. Keep your Drive Through lanes low times while walking in times escalate to over 5 minutes to place order. Sad service. Then questioned for additional sauces (not placed out for customers to help themselves). Prices up service down. Please bring back old school nacho cheese 🧀.

Tried to place an order on their website and it gave me an error. I attempted to correct the error multiple times and then gave up and ordered through Uber Eats. Well now I have 4 charges on my credit card for the order that wasn’t placed on their website. Tried to call but the mailbox is full and no one answered. This place has gone downhill since JackNTheBox took over. They also took awhile to make the order as it was delivered 20 mins late.

UPDATED: After leaving the below review the location called me to hear about the poor visit I endured and apologized for the situation so I decided to go back weeks later to see if anything changed and was pleasantly surprised! Went through drive through and employee was friendly and efficent. Food was made fast and delicious and the experience was 100% better then the previous visits. Will stop by again when i am in the area. Thank you for the experience. Previous visit-Decided to give this location a 2nd chance and they reinforced my decision to never come back to this location. Horrible customer service. I stood there several minutes while 1 lady was preparing the food and the other lady was talking orders from drive through- made drinks- took payment- and added the sauce packets. Neither acknowledged me until 2 other drive through orders were filled. I had a reward that I wanted to order with add one like jalapenos and onions. Drive through lady told me to go to the qr code which I did then she said she would take care of the rest and turned away from me back to the drive through window. I started to order 2 tacos then she told me to hold on as she completed another drive through order and starts to take the 4th order through the headset when I decide to leave. Will not be back. Would rather drive to the one on st rose where they are quick and friendly. This Pecos location is obviously understaffed. It was clean inside though for being an older location. Did not use the bathroom though so don't know the condition of it.

The wind was blowing rather hard, and I couldn't really understand the guy that took my order. I ordered 2 meals and 4 street tacos. I drive up to the window, and I get only the tacos. I told the guy what the order should have been, and he snapped at me. Anyway, I ordered what I wanted and told him that I couldn't understand him due to wind problems. The burritos weren't good, but the tacos were ok. Not sure if I will go back to this Del Taco.

This location is ok most days but can be hit or miss at times depending on who's working in kitchen. Easy to tell who cares who doesn't. Also when ordering multiple of same items quality becomes more inconsistent
