The 2 employees were friendly, entertaining, and made us feel welcome. They easily engaged in lighthearted conversation. The chopped brisket was quite dry, but the fried pickles were amazing!
Fantastic food ordered the competition plate, which consisted of brisket prepared two different ways, green beans and mashed potatoes. My guest had the chicken combo plate. I was fortunate to be able to try the chicken also. All was delicious, seasoned and just plain worth the quick trip. For a BBQ Experience of a lot of really good barbequed meats, this place is great. However, if you are looking for the entire package of BBQ, this place isn't really there. The sauces don't seem to match with the meats which makes it feel like you're eating meat and sauce rather than meat with flavor. The beans tasted like they came from a can, good but not great.
