The food was delicious. I asked to get a tiny taste of the cheese that goes in the burrito and the employee wanted to charge me, as if I was ordering a side of cheese. I didn't want a full side of it, just a taste to see if that was what was the making it spicy. I tried to teach some about good customer service and that I didn't need to be charged for just a smidge. Hopefully their manager teaches them.

Update:
We gave Pollo Loco another try today (September 12, 2025) and i am happy to report that the prior problems were corrected. We ordered our favorite, the Pollo Bowl and it was excellent. Thank you we will be back.

I asked for a breast wirh skin on it.
Guy didn't say anything. Went to back pulled a different 1/2 chicken, allegedly put that on the grill. I got back same piece.
I said thanks, still didn't say anything. Spoke w other guests.
