Got the 🥑 bowl was good except for it more like bean soup. Too many beans with bean juice not very much of other ingredients needless to say they were swimming in bean juice. I think next time I'll have them put the beans on the side so I can put them in the bowl without all the liquid.

The food was delicious. I asked to get a tiny taste of the cheese that goes in the burrito and the employee wanted to charge me, as if I was ordering a side of cheese. I didn't want a full side of it, just a taste to see if that was what was the making it spicy. I tried to teach some about good customer service and that I didn't need to be charged for just a smidge. Hopefully their manager teaches them.

Update:
We gave Pollo Loco another try today (September 12, 2025) and i am happy to report that the prior problems were corrected. We ordered our favorite, the Pollo Bowl and it was excellent. Thank you we will be back.
