Nice size larger portions, quick meal service>> but if you go on busy times you'll have to wait some for a table. We've been twice>>once late night no wait & than Sunday afternoon was a wait. But was ok, went outside & also played slots (free beer lol) Prime Rib was excellent, meal Specials are worth it bc comes w/ Appetizer, salad & cake after. The breakfast Specials were really affordable too! Food was served Quickly. I'd say this small Restaurant was affordable, 24 hrs π & you can bring Children in to eat too, nice portions ππ½π₯©π₯π³π³π€

Delicious steak and eggs. All food is great quality. Coffee is excellent. Service was great also. We highly recommend.
If you're looking for a truly "Old Vegas" style coffee shop, this is the place. How I never ate here before now is a travesty, especially as a Vegas local who loves a good deal. This place was crowded with older folks and locals looking to get their bellies full for a low price, and it did the trick. There are daily specials, so be sure to ask. The regular menu is extensive and priced more than reasonably. You can get things like a $9.99 burger, fries and drink special every day, and the daily specials were fairly priced too ($13 pot roast dinner, $15 shrimp fajitas). The atmosphere is very old school and comfortable, with friendly and efficient servers. Our waitress was over 60 and looked like a career Vegas server, the kind that wears super comfy shoes, has a pencil tucked behind her ear, and calls you "honey" and "sweetie." Absolutely phenomenal service, and it added to the overall vibe of the place. We started with a chicken quesadilla, which was better than I expected. For just $8.99 (!) it was large enough to share and was stuffed with chicken breast , onions, peppers, and cheese. It was really tasty, sort of like a melty fajita. I wouldn't get an appetizer again, because the dinner portion sizes were massive. I'm a big eater, and this was a mountain of food. I ordered the lasagna dinner ($10.99). It came with two large slices of garlic bread (over-toasted and a little burned, which was a bummer) and was loaded with cheese. The lasagna was homemade, and it had those crazy delicious crispy edges that had baked in the pan. I saved those for last, and it was perfection. Really, really delicious. My friend had the 12" pastrami sandwich with fries ($12.99) and added a dinner salad ($1.99). The sandwich he was served was MASSIVE, piled high with meat. He went crazy for it and said he can't wait to come back. The fries were (surprisingly) quite sad and not even worth eating. You'd think an old school diner would have killer fries, but these were nothing special. The salad was such a cheap addition that I'll probably get one next time. It had artisan style lettuce (not just boring iceberg), a few cherry tomatoes, and croutons. Simple and to the point, but fresh and tasty. Sodas ($1.99) are cheap and they offer free refills! This is far from a fancy establishment, and I get the feeling that it gets very crowded during popular senior citizen mealtimes (I would avoid 4-6 pm, peak Early Bird hour)! We dined at 7:30 on a Tuesday night and got seated immediately. Don't let the location turn you off, or you'll be missing a good, solid, Vegas diner. This place is now on my regular dining rotation!
I've never been here before. I happen to be in Henderson for another reason and needed a place to eat and it looked enticing online. The casino is very popular with locals and was very crowded, which is good. I put my name in for the Grille as a single. I was told 20min. I understand that people eating are not on timers but 45 minutes was a little longer then 20 minutes, especially when i see groups of 2 go ahead of me. Probably regulars. After sitting down, the service was pretty good. They gentleman waiter was really on top of everything. The lady next to me had constant problems with her order. Eggs not cooked right, gravy on mashed potatoes and other things. They redid the eggs, which arrived when she had eaten and boxed left overs already. This is a very small grille unless there is another section i did not see. My waitress kept disappearing but was very good when there. Now to my food. I decided, because of the description in the menu, to get a half rack of ribs with the beans and macaroni salad. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. The Mac salad was about the best i've ever had, along with the beans. That leaves the Ribs. They had a good flavor but they were the worst i've ever had. After chiseling thru the crust, the meat fell off the bone, not because it was cooked right, but because it was so over cooked and dry that it couldn't stick to the bone. I ended up taking the meat, piling it in the middle and pouring sauce over it. Didn't help. Never got to the end because it was like a rock. No, i didn't complain.. i didn't have the time and shouldn't have to. I left after 1/3 of the ribs savoring the Mac Salad and Baked Beans, never to return. I had my problem, the lady next to me had hers. I actually saw a guy return a wedge of lettuce to the cooking area. A Wedge of lettuce. You have to wonder what was wrong with it. Price was fair if the food was good.... Very expensive Mac Salad and Beans. But, i did win a little money in the casino. And, they were handing out Strawberry Short Cake that was very good.... those should have been the cooks.
You have to eat and shoo flies off yourself and your food. Not a pleasant experience. According to staff , management is aware and looking for a solution. In the meantime bring your own fly swatter. Maybe they should give you a fly swatter and pay a bounty for each kill.
I got the burger, my other half got the breakfast skillet. We would not get either again. At least we wouldn't be saying, "hey let's go to Emerald Island cafe to get their food!". The food was a lot of nothing. The service was poor. I don't know her name but a white female that spent a LOT of time on the people she knew, hanging out, hand on their shoulders talking forever (maybe the reason my fries were so cold?). As for all her other customers, she would walk by and ask if they needed anything but never stopped. Just really poor service.
My brother is a member at this casino and goes every weekend. The Grille has the most fantastic meals of any Casino in Vegas. Daily specials are amazing with great portions. We went on steak and Seafood Friday. All the steaks were fantastically prepared accompanied by a shrimp skewer. But my Ciopino was to die for. Fully loaded with ample pieces of fish , salmon, shrimp, clams, scallops and a lobster tail too.
There is nothing fancy about this place. The food is great and the service is good. They do a good job with daily specials.
Restaurant was full from early (6 p.m.) thru dinner, but it's open 24 hrs. Food was very good. Wife had the rib-eye & had spaghetti & meatballs: the same. Healthy servings, she had a salad with hers and Fresh with good greens, etc. Mine came with garlic toast. I brought 1/2 home. Service was on it, too! We will definitely go back.
We actually bid on a charity auction and got a barbecue dinner for Tan which allowed us to sample all of the meats they have available this was an amazing and wonderful surprise to us because absolutely everything was amazing all of their barbecued meats (chicken, brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage) were some of the best we have ever had and the mac & cheese was off the charts we will certainly be coming back to this place for a barbecue I cannot endorse it more!! Usually when I go to a barbecue place I will like one or two of the meats they have but not all of them in this case they were all outstanding even the sausage which I am very picky eating..... if youβre in the area and want barbecue you should stop by!

There was a guy on the radio in Las Vegas that did his show once a month from here so I decided to try it for a quick dinner. I've been to other places in Henderson but never here. They have a burger combo special for $8.99 that's really legit! Two 1/4 lb patties with cheese on a really good bun along with fries & a soda!
A busy local food spot. All the typical diner fare with a bit of a twist. They do have some interesting items on the menu - for example an eggs benedict served on thick grilled tomato slices. It's noisy, busy and the wait staff work hard to please.
This restaurant is located in the Emerald Island Casino in the town of Henderson. The ambiance of this casino made me feel like I had stepped back into time. I heard that this is the only all-penny slot casino in Nevada. As a new member of their player's club, they offer several coupons. My husband and I each received several coupons. We decided to redeem a coupon for either one free burger combo or one free skillet omelet. I ordered the burger and my husband had the omelet. Both meals were very good and definitely filling. Without the coupons each meal would have been $8.99 each. Be prepared to wait at least 1 hour after adding your name to the wait list. Busy restarant but attentive staff. Will return and try other dishes on the menu.
