It is not the same as before, extremely slow service and prices increased to more than double what they were.

The food is not at all as good as it used to be. Our service was not very good at all either. I was so excited to go to Gens again but it has gone downhill big time. Not worth the money. Still cute inside and great music though.

Almost $30 per person, went with 2 adults, 1 child. Spent about $85, and my daughter wasn't charged since she's only 4. It was okay experience, I like the ice cream near the check out, my favorite was the strawberry, the green tea one was too strong of a flavor. I will come again and visit, fair warning ⚠️ they give you two hours to do the all you can eat and will charge you if you order food and waste it. So only order what you KNOW you can finish

Me and my family would always come here and have a Wonderful evening as well as coming for several occasions. But this time we came for my boyfriend‘s birthday and it was a mess. I was so embarrassed that I even talked highly about this place. The server, Haley, I believe her name was great. She was Very sweet. The issue started with our food every time we would order something it would take extremely long to come out. We asked the server about it and she told us there was new staff in the back who was a bit slower and she apologized multiple times. She kept coming back and checking on us and we just kept telling her we didn’t receive this. We didn’t receive that yet, she was in disbelief that we were still waiting for the same exact items. We were sitting at the table for a while with no food. By the time we would get food we would cook it eat it and still be sitting there waiting for things we ordered way before.
I brought a cake for a birthday celebration and they normally do birthdays Big with the screaming singing, happy birthday, the LED lights, but this time it was one manager, walking out with the cake and sat it on the table no singing no clapping no nothing just walked out with the cake in the box still and sat on the table. I was in disbelief, considering on how they normally do things, we have piles of dishes sitting in front of us for at least 10 minutes with nobody coming around to grab them . As well as the grill, we had to ask for someone to come change out the grill that was clearly burnt and unable to be cooked on the employees came around and collected dishes skipped us plenty of times when we left the dishes at the end of the table. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me “ I’m sorry for your experience. I hope next time you come we are better.” I was taking by response. After a few more conversations, she told us that she was able to takeoff one drink for us $3.98. She said here you go I hope this helps. Are you satisfied with this? I said if this is all we can do then I guess I have to be satisfied with it. She said I can ask my General manager, if there’s any more she can do. She came back to us moments later and said the general manager denied the request so I took it upon myself to ask to speak to the general manager, and after speaking to her, she decided to give us half off of one person dining. 28.99 - 1/2 off I was fine with it and excepted it. She then told us she will go speak to the waiter about the experience. I let her know the waiter wasn’t the issue. The waiter came back to us and apologized multiple times and offered us ice cream macaroons. Two of the guest accepted the macaroons why she was bringing them over I decided to stop and ask her were you paying for this out-of-pocket? Is it coming out of your checks or is it on the restaurant? She told me she’s paying for it with her own money I told her absolutely not that is not what I wanted at all so of course we declined the ice cream macaroons and we was very thankful to her, I was disgusted that the restaurant was employee pay for ice cream for the entire table!!!

Rice taste like dirty tap water,

We have been to this restaurant many times before and we have always had an enjoyable meal. On this occasion, it was a little warm inside because the AC for the entire mall was weak.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A KOREAN BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD!! Be aware that it takes them 45 min to bring out items. Dont dare ask for rice paper! They will look ant you crazy! also check every item is correct they will bring you items from the PREMIUM MENU and say it was an accident but they still have to charge you! GO TO THIS LOCATION AT YOUR OWN RISK! Waiter didn’t check on us and it was completely empty sat with no drinks for an uncomfortable amount of time. Literally had to dam near beg for silverware.

Clean area neaty , Service nice and friendly workers staff, But there one little problem We got ramen they told us it would be ready by 10 mins but they took 30-35 mins to cook simple ramen ... Overall Good service.. amazing food ..

Gen is a great “go-to” for KBBQ. Consistent food quality and a reasonable price. Nikko, the bar tender was a delight. Engaging and made us feel very welcome. You can tell he enjoys what he does… rare these days and very refreshing. Pictured is the wagyu beef from the premium menu. Big thanks, Nikko?

JULY 23 DINNER.Air conditioning was down. Service was horrible. Worst part is the steaks were tough and have not had worst meats in my life. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT
The most horrible service I have seen in my life, Never come back again, I have no words to describe that horrible service ????????? I do not recommend this place to anyone…
