The guy bartender was extremely attentive & gave good, fast, friendly service. I didn't care much for the female bartender there. Always got ignored, waited forever for our drinks, & always got a dry personality with the service. I would think people in the service industry would be more interested in being friendly in order to make more money, rather than having an "I'll get to you when I get to you" attitude, being slow & just not friendly or personable. But kudos to the male bartender there! He knows how to make money.

Gold Mine Tavern is awesome! The atmosphere is krazy kool. I went there on a Tuesday not expecting to see much but they had an amazing open mic night that I guess they do every Tuesday. I had so much fun I'm going to go back next Tuesday and probably the weekend too because I cant wait to go back and another cheap ass beer. They must have the best prices in Henderson.
The tavern is a nice place to hang out and meet people. I've been there three times and the crowd has always been welcoming. The bartenders are nice and really aware of the bar, so you always have a cold drink ready for you. The bar itself doesn't serve food but the night I was there they had a hot dog vendor in the front and that was pretty awesome. Savory hotdogs with up to 20 toppings. Wow! What a deal plus a beer can't go wrong. There are nights that they have a live band. I know that on football nights they have food vendors outside again. Eff-n-Hotdogs were a great treat.
