Maria provides absolutely great service! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome with her warm and friendly vibe. The cakes were delicious, and she even offered free samples, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed her passion for what she does. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. This place should not be selling sandwiches. It took a few minutes for the sandwich offerings to scroll on the digital display and all it had was a picture. It did not have any description of what was in the sandwich. I should not have to keep asking what is in each sandwich. I should be able to look at the menu and decide. Good thing nobody was in there, otherwise I would have had to wait for an answer to what was in each sandwich. You have a digital display. You need to utilize that board to the benefit of the customer. What you use if for is not customer friendly. The meat is of poor quality. I purchased two combo sandwich meals and it was $18 a piece. My wife couldn't even finish her sandwich due to the horrible taste of the meat in the sandwich. Mine I had to return because saying no avacodo is too hard to understand. I didn't want a second one due to the 10 minutes it took to make the sandwich. We were the only one in the store, but they couldn't find the sandwich making person. I just waited for her to show back up. I couldn't return the combo part of the meal because I had taken a drink out of the soda. The chocolate chip oatmeal cookie was very dry and not how a oatmeal cookie should taste and the texture was all wrong. Now onto the bread. It was just ok. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the bread very long because it was moldy after 3 days in a bread bag. I used to live in San Diego and would love going to Boudins, I was hoping this would be our new go to spot, but this is the new, never going back spot. Almost any other sandwich place is better than what I was sold at this place. Corner Bakery had better sandwiches than this place.
