I stopped in here the other night after I got back from going to a Knights game & catching the RTC bus from here ($4.00 RTC)This is a bar I like to hang out at to gamble & drink. I have had a rude & disrespectful bartender in the past & service is usually good but the other night I had an AWESOME bartender named Buddha. It took him a few minutes to come over to me as he was busy plus I sat in the back of the bar, in a corner closer to the sports book area. He checked on me several times & was very attentive. He may have been a "filler bartender" who covers breaks or his shift had ended while I was there. I LOVED his awesome service but once I cashed out two tickets that were each a little over $100's it was time to get outta there & head home before I gave them their money back....lolI just had to update my review just to give a shout out to Buddha for his exceptional service. Thank you!

Whoever Michael is has terrible customer service. I was attempting to set up a new account was rude for no reason, continuously cut me off, didn’t allow me to speak, wasn’t willing to assist and even trying to get assistance with their app just felt as if I was blown off and not important.I planned on gambling with Station Casinos in general but considering this interaction I might as well avoid spending any money with the chain across any casinos.Mike the manager was nice about it when I requested a manager, but whoever Michael the representative was at the Sportsbook was TERRIBLE.Also… made a bet at a kiosk and had some left over so I cashed my slip. The lady didn’t hand it to me, they threw the money at me. Yea.I’m cool on Green Valley Ranch in its entirety.

This is a really nice place but if you want to hear the sound for your game, don't come here!!! The manager picks and chooses what games he wants to play the sound for. The first time I came here, the Sportsbook manager told me he couldn't play the sound of my game (Carolina) bc it wasn't the prime time game. I came again today bc my team's game was the prime time game (Carolina vs NOLA) and they played the sound up until the Steelers/Brown game started (middle of the 2nd Qtr). This is a division rivalry game. I asked why we couldn't hear the sound of the game and he said they swap the sound at halftime. Then they'll swap back to finish our game. It wasn't halftime. We have 4 mins left and the game hasn't been on since the middle of the 2nd Quarter. If the Steelers game has an ENTIRE half left, why not let our game finish. It got to the point where all the saints fans left. They really need to do a better job here. Bc how is it the same TV you told me the sound comes from is the same TV the sound is NOT coming from. I truly HATE this Sportsbook. If anything, switch it back and forth so all fans can hear their games.

My wife and I have stayed in many LV hotels from $$$$ to $$ and never have we had a more uncomfortable experience than we did at the GVR. My wife was bitten by some kind of bug and they were so dismissive. We had to fill out a report and were eventually given a new room and a food voucher but my wife was miserable the whole stay. The rooms are so outdated and shabby and housekeeping was terrible. It’s no wonder they have a bug problem. The rates are crazy for the condition of the rooms.

1st time we got to stay a GVR. It's off the strip which we love. The grounds are very nice, great pool, restaurants, Happy Hour, big rooms and in a nice area. Right out the doors from the hotel is The District. They offer more bars, restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back.

So disappointed with my stay. It was a gift from my daughters for my 60th birthday. Loved the Salon and Spa, and dinner at Hank's. But that's where it ends. They ended up charging my own CC (which they request at check-in for "incidentals") for early check-in which I did not request nor was I made aware of that there would be one by the Front Desk individual; charged me for the Resort Fee. One of my daughters works in the Hospitality industry and she's very well versed in how this works. Shouldn't the resort fee been included in the total that was charged to her CC at the time she made the reservation? The room was terrible. It smelled musky. Carpet was dirty in several spots. Bathroom wasn't in any better condition. I reached out to the Front Desk when I received my CC statement to inquire about these fees and they were rude, dismissive and argumentative. Won't be staying at this hotel again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Valley Ranch! Everyone that worked there was so friendly and welcoming. It is nice to stay off the strip so you get the more relaxed experience, but still have the casino and restaurants that you would get in a "Strip" casino. We spent most of our time in the pool which was exactly what I wanted from my vacation. The restaurants are great as well! We did the Date Night special at Bottiglia- $65 per couple and you get a salad to split, 2 entrees and a dessert! Highly recommend that! I would definitely return again!

Let me first start by saying that for a property that is over 20 years old, the grounds of Green Valley Ranch are pretty well maintained although there is definitely room for improvement in their service standard. As locals, we are aware that there are many properties that we could choose to do a staycation at, on and off the strip. We decided to try Green Valley Ranch since we have frequented the District for their dining and shops and have eaten at a few of the restaurants on the property itself. We were going to celebrate an occasion. What ruined this stay? The most important interaction (that I feel is)...the hotel check-in. We arrived well after check-in time and checked in with an agent by the name of Miles. As mentioned, we are locals and are also aware of something called the $20 sandwich in which case you hand over to the front desk agent and politely ask/mention a possible upgrade of sorts. Sometimes it may work, sometimes not, but when it is not available, the agent normally returns the monies handed over. This was not the case. We had told Miles that we were there to celebrate an occasion but I guess that didn't mean much since we got a view of the parking lot and HE KEPT THE MONEY!! Mind you, this was a midweek stay so the hotel was not sold out by any means. The whole interaction was lackluster, even before seeing the room. Miles didn't tell us where the elevators were so we had to ask. He also didn't explain how the numbers worked as far as which floor to press in regards to your room number so there was some confusion there as well. After reading some of the other reviews, however, I can see that this property seems to be very stingy when it comes to any sort of soft comp. GVR, just so you know, a little goes a long way and if you're trying to make it back to Forbes standard, perhaps you should revisit retraining some of your staff and procedures. The room was ok. Rather dated and the windows were filthy. Air conditioning couldn't get the room cool enough and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The saving grace for this stay was spectacular service of your pool staff. All smiles and very attentive. If I were ever to recommend anything at this property, it would be the pool and that's about it. The other thing that was a head scratcher was the fact that they advertise no resort fee for locals.... we are locals but booked under a different room rate so we had to pay the resort fee. Read the fine print before booking is what I can say or fall prey to false advertising like we did.

My husband wanted to just lay at the pool and relax for his 50th and he choose this hotel. This was our first time at this resort. We arrived early, we normally do this when we go to Vegas and pay the "early" fee. Unfortunately for us this was not the case at this hotel, our room was not ready for a few hours. When our room became available I was excited because I thought we were going to have a bit of an upgrade from the standard room, we had a balcony. Well I felt duped, there was a balcony with no view haha, the room was a nice size but definitely needed to be renovated. The carpet was torn and has seen better days, the curtains were tattered and overall the room was a bit sad. Thankfully the bed and pillows were good. We thought about changing rooms but we decided to just enjoy the pool. We went to the adult pool it was packed but it was very hot so that is understandable. We never received and service from the cocktail servers. We went back to the pool the next few days and we had great service, it would have been nice to have the adult pool open. There were a lot of kids and it would have been nice to have a separate space. The chairs and shade were easy to come by and free. you can pay for a cabana , daybeds and chairs if you like. The pool is the main feature, at least to me. We had meals at LuckyPenny, Pizza Rock and Tides Oyster Bar all were great and so were the prices. I was a happy camper that Lucky Penny offered matcha. The fitness center was great, clean and great equipment. I am not sure if we will be back but if we do, I will try the Executive Suites or maybe just a standard room. I do not recommend room 2026.

First time staying here with my husband for a couples getaway. it is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. Pros: Nice corner room with windows. Lobby bar was lovely. Easy to get coffee in the morning without needing to wait in a long line. Pool was modern. Cocktail waitress was attentive and friendly. Chairs and umbrellas were FREE of charge. No one had to be without shade. Plenty of seating and umbrellas for everyone. Water bottles were free during the entire stay. We were there on a hot summer week with temperatures at 115+ degrees every day. We asked the lobby desk clerk about free water as was advertised and she said “we would never charge for water, especially in this heat.” You can have as much water as you need. No limit. Loved this. Guest rooms require key swipe to get to hallway and elevator. Late night casino coffee stand has excellent pastries for a late night sugar craving. Wait for an Uber was never more than 10 minutes. Beautiful outside grounds with plenty of cute corners and alcoves to sit in the shade. Pizza rock pizza was the best we have ever had. Room service breakfast was on time, accurate, and hot. Cons: Room was surface cleaned but corners were dusty and dirty. Neighboring room had dirty dishes outside the door for the entire four days we were there. We had to walk past it each and every time we went to our room. Some pool lounge chair cushions had a horrible, moldy smell. So much so that some areas were unbearable to sit in. We just found an area that didn’t smell. Music at the pool was extremely loud from 10 AM in the morning. I understand having more of a party vibe on the weekends, but it would be nice to maybe tone it down a bit for a day or two during the week. Or even play a variety of music rather than the pounding, blaring, night club dance music all day. Especially being that there were a LOT of small children at the pool and some of the music was pretty raunchy. I found it hard to relax at the pool, however I do understand it is Vegas. Nonetheless, we would stay again, if not only for the fact in not charging for water, shade, and chairs shows how they value a customer’s comfort and needs over profits, especially during a record breaking heat wave when not doing so could even be dangerous. Overall the hotel was clean, the staff were pleasant and friendly, and the room was modern and comfortable.

Stayed here for an art convention . The service was impeccable and the food fabulous I would definitely stay here again . I also loved that it was not on the last Vegas strip. Just an amazing place the pool was beautiful as well.

Great getaway with my 11 year old for some special mom and son time. The resort is beautiful and the staff was amazing. Hanks is a dining must. I love that you can walk right out the door into an outdoor mall area with plenty of restaurants too. We flew in from Denver to attend a Slamball game and loved not being in the middle of the Strip craziness.
