Love this place! Ordered some fried pickles and burger with egg. The fried pickles tasted fresh and they were still crunchy; came with ranch sauce and it was so good. Burger with egg was delicious, it came with bacon and fresh veggies. I don't usually like thick fries, but these fries were pretty good and crunchy. The place is big, ideal for big group. They had TVs to watch games. I would go back to this place.

The perfect local bar in old town Henderson on Water street! They have over 20 beers on tap, all locally brewed in Henderson and Las Vegas. Its spacious with plenty of seating and large TV screens around the bar. Super friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere for locals. Just wish I had found this place sooner...

Great place to get a delicious burger among other things. I love their signature Hardway 8 Burger which comes with a sunnyside up egg or their Inferno Burger which comes with grilled jalapeno slices and avocado. The atmosphere is great too. Lights are halfway dimmed to create a cozy vibe and a great beer selection makes it a great place to chill with the bros or a nice evening with the gal.

I heard a terrible rumor that this wonderful place will close soon. I hope this is all lies. We just discovered Hardway and been coming back at least every other week since it's kid friendly. I've always thought the food was just fantastic esp the mozzarella, nachos, inferno burger. But come on, please don't close your doors, locals like us seriously love this place :( y'all are too dope to leave .

I was hungry but wasn't in the mood for the usual stuff I go for on the weekends which would be Mexican cuisine or Asian cuisine. I rarely eat burgers when I go out but today was a different I was in the mood for a good burger. I went to trusty old Yelp and just typed in "burgers", and lo and behold found this place nearby, the reviews were good along with pics of the food. Decided to go for it and glad I did. According to the waitress it was a PT Pub before and has only been open for three years. Very spacious and open with lots of bar seating, booths and open tables in the center. There are lots of tv's which were showing football games. I started off with a pineapple Heifenweizen and fried pickles. Yum such a good combination if you are into fried pickles and beer, the pickles had a nice crunch and came with ranch and a spicy aioli. I ordered the Hardaway 8 burger for my entree which came with a sunny side up egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, pickled onions, lettuce, tomato and sauce. The meal included fries as well. It was one of the better burgers I've had in a long time. I omitted the bacon from mines, my friend had hers with bacon. Definitely going back to try other items on the food menu and the different beers. Prices were very reasonable.

Great place. Casual and laid back with great food and fantastic staff. Fried bologna sandwich was very tasty. Fried cheese is a new twist that was enjoyable, but could have used a bit more sauce. Fried pickles were good and the spicy sauce was a nice flavor. Great draft beer selection, which they are happy to let you taste to find your new favorite. If you are looking for an off the strip place to spend some time and enjoy a meal, this is a must try.

OK friends, I'm not mad at you for knowing about this place because the hubby and I can always get in right away! I'm telling you you forgot about this place when you're going down water Street and looking for places to eat. Where are you gonna get a delicious burger or sandwich with fries for less than 15 bucks?? if you go to a fast food place you're going to pay as much as that and then you have to settle for a water down soda. Their specialty drinks are excellent and they have a huge selection of beers on tap!! Don't forget the yummy fries that come with every sandwich or burger!! my husband got the messy steak sandwich and I got the PLT, and all I Gotta say is YUMMY!!

The meatloaf is the best I've ever had. It is smokey and moist. Packed with flavor and plated nicely with some fancy mashed potatoes which are also very good.goof. Would definitely recommend this place.

Went with friends and everyone enjoyed what they got. Nothing we really had, had WOW factor, but good, solid dishes. Dessert menu is very lacking, s'mores or one flavor of ice cream. And soda comes from the bar gun instead of a fountain machine and #iykyk. We had a great time though, server was great, and atmosphere was fun!

It's a sports bar with food. Lots of tv's with sports on them. Our server for lunch on a Tuesday was Melissa. She was very nice, and a good worker. I got the fried bologna sandwich. So good. And the mountain of fries were good. Too much salt on them for my taste so next time I'd ask for only light salt. My friend got the strawberry salad. He said it was really good. He added chicken for $5. Sort of pricey but was a good amount of chicken added. I brought home a half of my sandwich. I never bring home food but it was a huge sandwich. Will be back.

Local watering hole that has a great tasting menu. Est. 2019. Local ales on tap (awesome) and great service (Angie - bartender was just sweet and helpful). Garage door opens to street of Downtown Henderson. If you are local, it's the old JJ's. Ample gaming at the bar with some arcade games in the corner. Happy hours: 3-5pm & 10-12midnight.

I've been here a few times now and I always forget to write my review but I'm glad this place can be added to the numerous yummy places to try on water st. This place is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. Gaming at the bar, and even a basketball arcade style game in the back. Drinks- aside from rose were a bit too strong for my taste but they have a big selection of beer. Portions are huge in my opinion. Fish and chips and fried pickles are my top choices!

Was excited to try this place. $12 for their speciality cocktails. Had the cherry bitters & the peachy something with champagne. Drinks were okay. Strong enough without being over powering. I give the food a big Meh. I was expecting more. Fried pickles were in a weird batter. Fried cheese comes out looking like lasagna and then they cut it table side. They were trying too hard to be cool and hip. Not buying it. It was just below average to me. No vibe at all for a local pub/bar. Won’t be back. And the waitresses won’t keep anyone coming back.

Absolutely loved Hardway 8! The Water Street District is really growing into something amazing and Hardway 8 is a perfect addition to downtown Henderson. We came on a Sunday evening, which felt like a perfect time. Not super crowded but still plenty of people there enjoying food and drinks. Appetizer: Fried Pickles - 10/10 I consider myself a fried pickle connoisseur and these were perfect! I love a fried pickle chip over a spear, which is exactly what Hardway 8 offers. The batter was fried perfectly and this app is served with their homemade ranch for dipping. *chef's kiss* Entree: I had the Inferno Burger, which absolutely lives up to its name. This burger has the perfect amount of heat, but the avocado is there to cool things right back down. All burgers are served with fries and these fries were GOOD! Perfectly crispy and seasoned. Dessert: Do yourself a favor and order the s'mores off of the chef's menu! The presentation was just as good as the flavor. So delicious and the perfect size to share on a date night. Drinks: Can't go wrong! I went with a huckleberry cider, which was delicious, but they've got plenty of beer and cocktail options to meet everyone needs. Loved seeing all the local options! Service: Our service was great from start to finish! I regret not getting our server's name, but she was lovely and very attentive without being overbearing. Atmosphere: Hardway 8 has a big, open floor plan with bar, booth, and table seating. I loved the throwback music choices we heard throughout our dinner and there's also a vintage "arcade" at the back of the restaurant with all of your favorite games from back in the day. Hardway 8 will be a staple for us from here on out. Loved it!
