Kabob Oasis closed this location without notice. Of course, the yelp voucher is still available for purchase, so don't make the mistake I made and buy it.

Tried to eat here however they wouldn't honor a Restaurant.com gift certificate. They said it was expired. I tried to explain that they don't expire and they pointed to the date on the top of the page which was the date I had printed it. It even said on it that it doesn't expire. Would be nice if they educated their staff on the coupons. Left there without eating and had the awesome buffet at Taj Palace. If you need ethnic food, Taj Palace is the place to go.

Delicious and fresh with great portion sizes. I always leave content and satisfied. The kabobs, hummus, and salads keep me coming back. Treat yourself to some excellent and healthy Mediterranean cuisine at fantastic price.

This food was fabulous! My husband has been overseas and loves kabobs. Taste was excellent. Made to order. Will be back!

There are a lot of kabob places out there but this one has the fluffiest rice and even with delivery, juicy chicken, plus no other place is making the garlic sauce as good as this place does!

I go pretty much daily. The value is excellent. I get the lamb kubideh and it is consistently good. This is a family business with them cooking the food which makes the difference.

The food was edible but not a fan and won't be visiting any soon, the service was mediocre. The hummus doesn't taste anything like it, it was so blunt. The stuffed vine leaves came out of a can.

This has to be some of the worst "Mediterranean" food I have ever had. At first I checked in to Kabob Grill which is 2 blocks north on Eastern Ave, I am guessing others made the same mistake and that is where the 4 and 5 star reviews are from? This place serves hamburgers, chicken tenders and cheesesteaks so don't expect authentic Mediterranean. I saw the $5.99 gyro lunch special and thought I would try them out. The interior is odd with mismatched chairs and granite counter tops. It feels like it really needs to be updated. The special comes with a gyro, fries and a drink. I also got a side of baba ganoush and a piece of baklava. I asked for rice instead of fries which was not a problem. The order took about 10 minutes. This was the strangest gyro Ive ever had. It was on a large pita instead of the usual soft handheld kind I have always gotten. It was really hard to eat and clumsy. It seemed mostly filled with lettuce and very little gyro meat or tzatziki sauce. The rice was awful and flavorless. Now for the baba ganoush. Ugh, it even looked unappetizing. It was nothing like the usual soft, smokey eggplant dip I have had many times before at other places. At least the baklava was good. Even at $5.99 I would not come back here.

The good: Food tasted amazing. I ordered two skewers of steak and they were both very good. Rice is ok - your basic Mediterranean rice. Pita bread was pretty delicious. The not so great: There were no clean forks so we had to use those white brittle small plastic forks which make it almost impossible to cut steak. Definitely made eating less enjoyable, but also I get it - and not enough to write a bad review. However, right as we were leaving - fresh, clean regular forks were being brought out. The Terrible. We ordered (2) two skewer combos. Mine was regular (both steak) but my friend ordered his Steak and Lamb with no tomatoes, no rice, no bread. Add a side salad. When we received our meals they basically looked the same - so he had to cut into his to confirm that he had the lamb - as they coudn't understand when we asked. His main plate was missing the tomato but had rice and bread. They also gave him a side bowl of some kind of tomato & cucumber salad... which doesn't really make sense since he asked for no tomatoes. His order was more expensive than mine and completely wrong. I assume that maybe it was a language barrier or the person taking the order not paying attention to what he ordered. I would probably return here if in the area - as the steak was pretty delicious. However, kind of expensive especially when communication is difficult. Communication is super important especially when ordering food.

The prices were excellent for the portions they gave. Food is prepared when you order, no hot boxes. Staff was friendly, has a good mix of Arab and Mediterranean foods, the Chicken Kabob as well as the Gyro were great. Would have given 5 stars but the Air Conditioning was out that day.

Sorry but I just can't get past an Iranian owner who's trying to pass himself off as a Mediterranean. Let's keep it real people.
