Updating my last review... Terrible! All the meat was burnt. Super slow service... And it's not the normal menu... BBQ pork chops? Since when?

Crazy that there are so many messed up reviews. I frequent L&L often. Probably hundreds of times, and dozens of their locations. This is the best quality food I've had at one so far! 💯🙌🏼 I've been sleeping on this location for sure. I'm thinking some of these people complaining have never had, no do they have Love for, Island food. I'm very satisfied! Service was great too! There were 2 young ladies running the whole show, and they did not disappoint ❤️🙌🏼

Ill just say that I live less than a mile from this location, but drive to the location on Stephanie/Galleria. I was so excited to see this location open I went there with in a few days of opening. The food (bbq beef) was so bad I didn't even eat it. Meat was chewy with a horrible flavor. I gave them the benifit of the doubt that it was just a new location and they needed some time to work the bugs out. After a few months I gave them another try and it was worse, due to the service being non-existent (only one in the restaurant and waited 10 min just for her to take my order), and the food again was BAD.

I've loved L&L for many years. I'm very familiar with the menu, food portions, etc. This location gave me the worst BBQ mix plate I've ever had from L&L.
They skimped me on chicken, the beef was about 50% gristle, and the short ribs were missing entirely. The crew seemed more intent on chillin than working, which is probably why their food sucks.

Barbecue hard to chew and swallow, shrimp rubbery and overcooked, Mac salad salty. Cheeseburger was good. If you want your business to succeed hire a better cook.

Quality of food is poor. They don’t give you everything it’s supposed to come with. The cabbage below the chicken was like three pieces. I asked for teriyaki sauce and didn’t provide any. I won’t be going to this location again.

Wow, what rude staff, unreal. Loved coming here, even when they are busy, but the female staff are so unbelievably rude. Almost like they don't want to work, and my order means they have to. Well in an instant you just lost a customer for good.

It is obvious that ownership has changed and so has the quality of the food. We ordered food for lunch and it was terrible. I ordered the Mixed Plate and opted for veggies instead of rice. For $18, I received lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and raw white onions as a veggie. My beef was rancid and had a funny taste and smell. The "owner" left out, so the lady claimed she couldn't give me a refund because her employee number didn't work. She also works at the Mexican restaurant next to it, so I wasn't sure if she was just helping out, or what. This place is not the same!! I may need to report that spoiled meat to the health department. Eat at your own risk! NEVER again will I eat here.

Lnl’s can be a hit or miss but this one was a really good one not sure why it’s rated so low, if you have never been to an Lnl portions are pretty average but food is really solid!

Workers are not professional can tell they don't care. No customers and I still waited over 30 minutes. Got home looked at the food and threw it away!
