Ordered the carb friendly plate. It was very yummy. It had chicken, short ribs and other meats. Ordered it about a week later and it was just as delicious.

The katsu sauce is slightly savory, tangy, and sweet which compliments the katsu well. The BBQ chicken was extremely juicy and was a bit on the saltier side but worked well with the cabbage and rice. The macaroni salad is rich and creamy. - not the most friendly service but she was quick and we got our food within 10 minutes!Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. This location looks very worn and we were actually wondering if it was even opened from the outside. Came in at 8:30 and they said they were closed. I let them know online it says til 9 . He said no we're closed . Rude as heck. No worries , alcohol sunrise cafe is actually open til 9pm Came there and now they will get our business going forward.
Excellent Hawaiian food, they offer all the favorites. Have tried several dishes including the katsu chicken, the mixed BBQ plate, love the macaroni salad. Service as with anywhere is hit or miss. Personally I'm not there to socialize take my order and give me the food in a timely manor and we are good. Food has always been good and it's what keeps me coming back.

Rina at L&L BBQ is one of the rudest girls I've ever had take my order. she's greeted everyone nicely but was quite rude to girlfriend and I. Also, we are the only white people in here. I can't help but wonder if this restaurant is just racist against white people. she was not friendly taking my order; rolled her eyes and all.

So I ordered the loco moco plate. And it was absolutely disappointing. First off the gravy was not seasoned or flavorful. It was completely bland and gross! The hamburger meat was not real hamburger meat. It was actually freezer burnt hamburger patties. The whole plate was just horrible!! Compared to "Generations Kitchens". I will never order from here ever again. Nor recommend anyone to this establishment. I only gave them one star because I couldn't give them no stars!!
