We went there at about 4:45. It hadn’t gotten too busy yet so we got a nice little table by the window. I will say it’s a bit pricey but the portions are great. We got the “pick 2” it’s 34 dollars but there are dishes a bit less expensive if you choose just one item. I wanted to pick two ! So my friend got the brisket and tri-tip; and I thought it was ok. The brisket was actually pretty lean. I had their pulled pork! Omgosh that was some good stuff and then their jalapeño...
We had lunch here while visiting the Saturday market nearby. The restaurant is cute with a vintage, homey vibe. Right off the bat our waitress Amara was super sweet and helpful. The food came out pretty quickly and everything was soooo delicious! Three of us ordered the Country Fried Chicken because we had heard that it was amazing. It was! I ordered an appetizer of nachos with pulled pork, coke (refill), baby back ribs and brisket with 2 sides: mac and cheese + coleslaw.
While waiting for the appetizer, I was served a complimentary basket of biscuits with some apple butter - In my humble (non American) opinion, the butter was too sweet and under salty, and the biscuits were too!
