Makai Island Grill

Nice young man CARTER helped me w usual- small katsu/mac/salad. He remembered me from past, katsu was fresh/savory - great portion, salads showed great presentation! Outstanding service CARTER!!!

The teriyaki chicken is A+, and everything else is delicious! We highly recommend and will definitely be back. The macaroni salad is so good, too.

Had a large catering order for 90 people. Food was great! People really enjoyed the chicken and steak. Musubi was a hit as well.

Pick up was on time and the staff for the pick up were exceptional! Will order again next time we are in Las Vegas.

Since moving to Henderson from Hawaii, of course I miss the food and Makai Island Grill has the BEST FOOD, just like they make in Hawaii and when you go in to sit and eat, you see pictures of the island that brings you back to the days of Aloha and Ohana BBQing on the beach and others all gathering for a day of fun with the kids running and playing or at Magic Island, riding their bikes along as you walk… the staff all welcome you and are so kind and the food, it is true Hawaiian style and taste so ONO just like their servings which is big and so delicious!!
I RECOMMEND MAKAI ISKAND GRILL AS YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Kid-friendliness: My Granddaughter was born & raised in Hawaii and Makai Island Grill is her favorite place to eat just as it is my favorite place to have our meals delivered which is easier for me as I am disabled~ My Granddaughter loves to bring her friends (ages 8-12) and tell them all about Hawaii and share different dishes with them and so far EVERYONE HAS LOVED IT!!

Wheelchair accessibility: However, there is plenty space for me to come in and enjoy a meal (on my disability scooter) to pull up to the table and join my family!

Everything was good except the pork... wasn't my thing ? I think it was the texture... I like pulled pork but this one was a different texture....

Ordered the Protein Bowl, and the price displayed on the menu says $10.99. My total came out to $14.19. I did not sub any of my portions. Based on the posted price and with tax, my meal shouldn't be a cent more than $11.90. It is also almost a 40% mark up from what is posted. You would think the owner would take the extra money they snake from people with their posted fake prices and would invest in a menu with accurate pricing. I shouldn't have paid, but I had a long day. This looks HORRIBLE on management and the owner. Complete lack of credibility, accountability, and transparency. Will not be coming here again. Although the food is good, they've lost my business. This shouldn't even be a talking point, but sadly, it is. Don't let businesses like this one try to rob you just because they're don't want to pay for new signage. Very unprofessional and despicable. I don't care paying $15 for my food, it's the lack of transparency that is totally wrong.

Walked into an empty (0) customers, restaurant. I understand why. Help was unwelcoming on the edge of rude. No greeting.. Just a long face... The guy (says his name is Frankie) & girl seemed bothered by our questions about their menu. No customer service whatsoever. No thank you either.. On top of that, food is cold.
