From the moment we walked in the staff seemed to just want to get the restaurant cleaned for closing. There was a roll of trash bags on the bathroom counter, spray cleaners and towels on the tables, and the host had to bring us the salt, pepper and condiment holder. The host did not greet us with a smile or a "hello". The restaurant was almost empty at 6:00 pm on a Monday night and yet we didn't even have our drink order taken by anyone in the first 15 minutes we were there. The menu was lackluster and was pricey for the offering. We will not be back.

The food was vile. I was surprised by how undercooked the potatoes were. My food tasted like bacon, when I didn’t order any. The cross contamination is severe for a place that’s supposed to be vegetarian friendly. Everything was seasoned with too much seasoned salt, garlic and onion powder. Just awful. I gave it a chance after not having a great experience the first and only other time I was at a Mimi’s about 15 years ago. I don’t know what I was expecting. My mistake. Won’t make it again.

Wow! This is NOT the Mimi’s I remember before covid (it’s been that long). Sunday 1:30 pm deserted. No fun French music no cozy (fake) fire, no atmosphere at all. Service was ok but no muffin or bread with your entree ?$16 ++ meals . French Dip was gray and tasteless. Mushroom and Brie quiche was greasy with a soggy crust no taste - side salad was hot (on same plate) a heat lamp?? $53 out the door for 2 people ….. should have gotten that Costco pizza slice instead and saved $40. I think this location by Sunset Station won’t make it much longer. Going to Mimi’s used to be a great. No more. 😩
