Old staple. I was going to this place since it was located across the street. It does get busy during the lunch hour rush. Workers are always pleasant. Food is decent and consistent.

This is THE island authentic hawaiian food in Vegas. There’s no jawaiian music to help the restaurant’s ambience feel more island-like, the food speaks for itself. It’s 100% like having unko or auntie cook when you visit them on the islands. Everytime i’m in town for business or pleasure i eat here everyday! Come here and don’t expect glam and modern restaurant. This is island food and establishment through and through. Like it was plucked out of the islands and set in the middle of the desert.

My pastor’s wife told me that this place wasn’t that good, boy was she wrong! Can’t go wrong with the spicy Korean chicken.

Warm inviting, especially the Owner, as I caught him outside.
Friendly, elderly man with a warm smile.
He looks hard working and friendly.
Love this kind of atmosphere.
We waited a little long, but the food was like back home locals, and the mac salad was good. I had the bento special war, and you good never go wrong.
There were a lot of foods menu was extensive, and I almost went home with an extra plate of something ono.
Stop by and say hello to anyone.
Guarantee you'll feel like family leaving and will want to return to eat home down cooking.

Service has fallen, and the food is just not the same, unfortunately 😕. Rice was mushy, garlic chicken had zero taste and the meat jun was o er cooked and no flavor.

This was the go to until they closed for that, I believe it was 17 generation roach infestation. Plus, that haole lady, I never got her name, was soooooo rude to me when I called. I called with good energy until she responded to me the way she did. Then, without anything said she just put the phone on the counter. That phone is still on that counter I bet (tried calling back soon after and it's been busy).. she probably don't wanna take calls. Smh.

Das okay, I'll make the drive to The Cal and eat at Aloha Specialties even if they charge more.
