138 Restaurant

PLace itself had a nice feel. My biggest complaint is with my wine. I ordered a bottle of good wine. which was amazing. However, on my second pour, the waiter poured the wine into my water glass... about half a glass of wine. There was no effort in trying to replace the watered-down wine...he just removed the water glass, continued to fill my actual wine glass, and left, returning with a new water glass. i estimated he had waisted $25.00 in wine with no discount or offer of any kind. That really ticked me off. Not to mention, my 20oz rib eye was over cooked.

Not what we expected. All the aging fridges were empty. One of the menus we received was dirty as well as printed with different format styles. My husband's was double spaced with a few more  descriptions. I thought this place was known for meats from specific sources locations. The only thing I spotted was the Yellowstone burger. Also, the waiter keep getting irritated because his coworker would ask us and other tables if we would like another round of drinks. Our waiter told us must order from him directly. I think the coworker could sense we were getting upset because he brought us and another table a shot which was very nice. Overall, the website and IG did not match our experience unfortunately.

They changed their menu. We wanted to order the duck3X, but it wasn't on the new menu. We made reservations just to try the duck. Their new menu was quite small. I was a bit disappointed. I don't think we'll be returning to dine at this restaurant anymore.

Not worth the money spent. Prices are of a high star steakhouse and low star value. Steak was undercooked and precut. Signature drinks were below average. People were nice but again not worth the value. The very limited menu was listed on a blank white paper. I'd much rather spend the same money at a well established steakhouse much as in the local casinos. They need some work before they charge those kinds of prices.

The best way to describe this restaurant and our experience was disappointing. They get great online reviews and we had heard good things from friends. We checked out the menu on their website before we went and there were a number of interesting items that influenced our decision to go. When we showed up, the menu was a significantly reduced version of what was on their site, and of course, none of the items we were interested were available on their current menu. The wine list was unimaginative and they were revamping their wine list so nothing was available by the bottle. We settled on a steak to split, salad and the broccolini side dish. We were thinking about ordering another side, but I'm sure glad we didn't. The steak, which was a 16 oz NY strip, was actually well cooked to a medium rare. However, about 3 oz of our steak was fat, which made that end inedible. It was also woefully underseasoned. The broccolini, which was potentially flavorful, came out cold on a cold dish. We got a replacement, which was warm, but soon became cold because it was also placed on a cold dish. We ordered the wedge salad and asked for it chopped, but with just a small glob of dressing dumped in the middle. Service was mediocre at best. Our waiter was inattentive and he wasn't even the one we told about the broccolini because he wasn't around. We had to pull another waiter to deal with that issue. Even after the issue, he never showed back up until much later and provided a relatively insincere sorry about the cold side dish. The plates were dusty and our share plates left a black ring on the white table cloth. I wish I would have known that before I ate off of it because they brought them out stacked on one another. Only one steak knife was provided even though they knew we were both eating the steak. I know some of this sounds knit-picky, but when you're paying these types of prices for a meal at a white table cloth restaurant, these are the details that matter.

Came in for breakfast and the atmosphere is very inviting. The service was amazing and very pleasant. I had the My57 very wonderful as well as I ordered the pork belly Benedict. Will be back to enjoy more of the flavors they have to offer.

Service was great! The food was absolutely disqusting. We waited forever for a drink that was made wrong, the steak tasted like my dog will love it. The ceaser salad tasted like fish. We decided to order banana bread, that was a mistake. Tasted like pumpkin bread that I could of went down to the local grocery store to buy. I saw a tiktok video that made this place look amazing, which is why we decided to try it. Worst decision ever and a waste of $166 bucks. Looks great in pictures though.

We went on Saturday night when a large swath of Henderson lost power. So this restaurant got slammed that night and that probably contributed to an average dining experience at best. It took a long time to get acknowledged and seated. They were out of several items on the menu. The Caesar salad included a sardine paste that made it too fishy to eat. It should be on the side or mentioned in the menu. We sent it back. Unfortunately nothing really stood out as exceptional. And the staff seemed worn out from such a busy night. Would like to go back on a normal night to try it again. Henderson needs good places to eat so I want 138 to succeed.

This is the first time to 138. We are already planning to go back. From the grilled Caesar to the duck and branzino and lemon tart everything was excellent. I love that it is only minutes from our house!

This is a great new restaurant in Henderson. Beautiful decor, and nice finishes. Great attention to the quality of the food and preparation. The sliders were amazing, as was the salmon. We will be going back!

We had brunch on Sunday and it was our first encounter at this restaurant. The server was very friendly with a good demeanor. We had the meatball appetizer that was spicy, but with great flavor. We had the Wagu steak and eggs that was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. In addition, I had a classic cheeseburger that was more medium well than medium rare, but was lean and tasted great. I also ordered a couple of Papusas to try and they were fantastic!! Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go back again.

Steak House by night; excellent breakfast/brunch on the weekend. Unique restaurant, that is decorated with flair. Wait staff was friendly and very responsive. Food was great! Fresh and handmade, including the tortillas on their tacos. We tried the Birria tacos, 138 Eggwhite omelette and the 138 Wedge salad.

Fantastic food; one of the best steaks I've had. The waiter gave great recommendations. There were a few obnoxious clients there, loud drunks. They definitely took away from the experience. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there, but drinks weren't refilled very quickly.

My first visit to 138 patio looks awesome, renovation is AMAZING, Visuals yell Fresh , Bar speaks for itself. Staff excellent across the board!!! Our server was the BEST ?? Drinks ? Food ? desert WoW lemon tart, chocolate moose layer cake, so why 3 stars I give an honest rating & evaluation 3 of our party ordered 8oz Filets after ordering turns out the restaurant had ran out...SMH, on to the 20oz Ribeye very good ??

I really wanted to like this place since it’s so close to my house, but everything was under seasoned. The presentation was great, but the flavor was lacking. We had truffle cheese fries, the meatballs, short rib, pork chop, potato purée and asparagus. Everything was bland. What a bummer.
