Sonoma has been one of our favorite steakhouses in Vegas. My husband had a filet and I had a prime ny strip steak. Steaks were not as tasty as they were in the past. Chop house salad is always the best. I had a martini and it was served in a margarita glass not the usual large martini glass. It was our anniversary and we did get a dessert, crème brûlée with fruit. Service was excellent!

Great experience. Server was knowledgeable and offered suggestions when asked. We did notice bar service was a touch slow throughout the night. My steak was cooked perfectly!! The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth- so delicious! We would probably not choose the charred corn again - just a little lacking in flavor. Bread service had several choices which I really appreciated. All in all Will be back!

The main reason for such a low review is due to forgotten items in my order. I have been a very experienced waitress in all levels of restaurants in the past, and my brother was a chef. I order very precisely and I make sure servers hear everything. I am not wishy washy at all. The server forgot our appetizer. And with no apology, no free appetizer (after the 30minute ticket time for entrees, no visit from the manager, and no free anything after all Of that... it is clear I would not go back there. It costs restaurant “peanuts” to make sure a customer is happy after their clear mistake. It takes a server very little accountability to admit they are wrong to a table and their manager. We got none of that!!!

We usually love this restaurant but last night's dinner was a big disappointment for 2 of the 3 of us. My salad - I asked for no blue cheese but it had it and the waitress didn't take the $$ off the bill. My husband's scallops were really bland. The lobster bisque and our grandson's steak were great.

We just has a special occasion and dined at Echo and Rig. After choosing to celebrate our anniversary with daughter, we returned and very satisfied even at a higher price point than E & R. Quality of our steaks exceeded E&R hands down at twice the quantity. We all had bone in NY strip loins so tender and tasty even wout the special sauce which adds richness like a dollip of butter on your steak. Not inexpensive to be clear but quality and attentive service was worth it.

As locals, we have eaten here many times over the years. Their bread basket is amazing and the service is always great. We were celebrating our grandson's birthday and his filet and side was delicious. My husband ordered a New York strip and it was not great. There was a lot of white, fiber type filaments throughout and very difficult to chew. We told and showed our waiter about the issue and he asked if we wanted another steak. But since we were halfway through the meal, my husband said no, as not to be eating after everyone else was done. Since at least 1/2 the steak was still on the plate we thought the bill would reflect at least a small discount, but no discount was applied. To say the least we were disappointed.

We had 6 for dinner and 4 of the 6 have dined here before and have had great times. We had dinner on Saturday night and Jason was our server. He totally sucked at this job, so much that I had to call for the Manager. Jason totally ignored us all night where we had to ask other servers for things we wanted. On our previous 2 visits we have had a server by the name of Poom. She was working that night and after explaining to her how bad Jason was she took control of the situation and made our night. She literally saved a disaster night at the Sonoma Cellar. Our group discussed never coming back. From now on we will ask for Poom when we make a reservation.

This was a great meal. Steaks were perfectly done. The mushrooms and beans were excellent. We were informed that the cheesecake was made fresh, so we tried it, and it's one of the best in Vegas. We have eaten out at more than 50 steakhouses in the last 2 years, and the cheesecake here is number 2 for us, which is saying a lot. My son and I have very different palettes. He likes a more subtle, creamy type, and I like it more dense and rich with the actual cracker bottom like it used to be made. This cheesecake delivered. David, our server, went far beyond to make us comfortable. The hostess neglected to read our reservation request, but David fixed this for us and started the evening with a perfect wine pairing of a new wine i have now added to my grocery list. Really well done. Kudos Sonoma.
