I was really disappointed in my local Starbucks today, I'm new to the Starbucks app and I notice the free coffee for veterans on 11/11 which I appreciated the company for recognizing our veterans. Well me and my husband which is an army veteran stop at Starbucks to enjoy your offer which clearly doesn't state Only black hot coffee ,so I ordered mine and ask the young girl to add a couple pumps of vanilla and she said no it doesn't apply ,it's only black coffee, which again your add doesn't say only black coffee is free so I was charged for a few pump of vanilla which I thought really you are going to charge me for a few pumps,my husband was so disappointed and upset about the whole interaction he didn't want a cup of coffee .so next time be a little nicer to vets and don't charge for vanilla pumps ,after all I didn't ask for a specialty drink
