Used to have a full food menu. That menu has been taken away and now there are snacks. Most of which are subpar.
The happy hour only pertains to beer and wine. One cocktail is chosen for happy hour.
Most happy hours will include well drinks, which is not the case here.

Spend elsewhere. The only star here is the friendly little petite woman working the bar. I was asked to leave because we brought our own meals, although we dined there in prior days and also ordered drinks that same visit. I spent good money to stay at the Westin Lake Las Vegas and will never return. I hope an ADA lawyer visits this place.

Zoie made me feel like the best in the world. This is genuinely the best customer service I have ever received in my life. I don’t have a single complaint. Thank you so much!!

This review is for the Angry Asian Man behind the bar, he needs to relax or get a new job … wow. After a day at CES we decide to grab a drink at the lounge before calling it a night. A few open tables but not yet been cleaned. As the wife and son wait by the table, I go and asked if we could get a table on the side cleaned, before I could finish my question, this angry bartender tells me they’re very busy and that there are tables at the restaurant downstairs. Wow. How is this dude in the service industry???Luckily the other person working tonight, a lovely lady name Jacqueline, quickly cleared our table, took our orders and got us our drinks.

Loved this place when it was Lowes. That’s when they knew how to keep a hotel nice. Unfortunately now it’s a cash grab resort. Heaven forbid you walk around the hotel with your soda that wasn’t bought at the hotel. Rooms small and not the cleanest. Our bathtub had rust all over it. Rooms I vacuumed after housekeeping. We came in on day 2 of 4 and the whole hallway and rooms smelled like weed. Not even like a little, like suffocating. Most of the staff was very nice except some who were clearly on a power trip. Typically love Westin so this was very upsetting.

Stayed one night. Arrived at about 1300 , my "upgraded" jr suite wasnt yet cleaned so I went to the restaurant. I got keys and went to room at about 1415. Room was warm AC was off and the grille for the AC unit had fallen down and the dust was all over the floor (BTW the vents were nasty like they hadn’t been cleaned in YEARS!. The room was obviously not just cleaned so I turned around, went to the front desk showed the picture and asked for someone to come up and fix the vent and vacuum the floor One hour passes and no one comes to fix and clean. 1530, I packed up went to front desk and asked for a clean room (I don't care if it was upgraded because I wanted to rest before my next late meeting).New room had the ac running and basically clean albeit seemed unvacuumed tho. All of the staff seemed to work and and were all great, but the hard product is lacking. To further the burn there is the junk $29 resort fee. The fee is supposed to include the: * Complimentary on-site parking (as marked on their website) * Complimentary Wireless Internet (as marked on their website) * Apparently covers the fitness center * Shuttle to Reflections Bay So really the junk fee covers the fitness center and the Shuttle, which unfortunately I didn’t use. I have stayed at this hotel before for a conference. The area is quiet and the hotel was nice. Now the hotel seems a bit rundown and unmaintained so I have canceled my week stay in August. For Aug 1, It looks like they have 447 rooms, 46 suites, 117 of those rooms are OOO(!), 236 sold, and occupancy is at 47.87% I find these stats interesting with that many rooms OOO. My “upgraded” just cleaned jr suite might have been one of those rooms that should have been marked OOO.

The hotel looks very inviting, it is beautiful from the outside, but different story awaits on you inside. Pool hours 9-8pm, slide closes at 5pm (the only fun for kids to do there). I personally think they should keep the pool open longer in the summer. It looks so beautiful at night! Sand beach is closed. If the pool is closed due to bad weather you are stuck with your kids in the hotel room since there is nothing else to do for them. They have games outside, but they are outdated. There was an unpleasant smell all over the hotel, it smelled like sewage. We rode the elevator to 9th floor and the smell was so bad up there. Breakfast had many options, but the food was not that good. You had to wait for an hour when ordering food by the pool. I wouldn’t order food for kids there again. The salad was okay and smoothies are good as well. Rooms should have queen size beds instead of double beds. Doors were squeaky (very loud ?). You do get complimentary drink at the Bar in main lobby. I would suggest not to book until you call the hotel first since they had a leak in the lobby when we left this morning and the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather most of the day yesterday.

I’ll come back after our trip is over to rate again. This is only our first full day. The lake is closed for all the hotels for water sports and swimming. There is a company by the village that you can pay by the hour to rent kayaks, paddle boards, etc. I was told that it’s a local rule or law in effect since March affecting all the hotels. I wish I knew that beforehand.

Family had a great experience. Cassie at the front desk/reservation was absolutely amazing from before we arrived to when we left. She truly help to create a memorable experience four our family. The property was in really good condition and our kids had a lot of fun. This is a hidden jewel and we appreciated the cleanliness and nonsmoking property. This hotel did not have slot machines and smoke everywhere instead it offered relaxation, fabulous pools and was a good family experience. We loved that the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle to the village. The staff overall was truly exceptional!

The review is for 13th of July. We did a staycation overnight. They gave us an early check in which was really nice. Never stayed here so first impression is the layout of restaurants, pools, lobby bar and parking are good. Pro's -The 2 pools are great! *No jacuzzi working at the moment. One above is more adult as there is also a bar there. Below they have slide and more kid oriented. - You can have a cocktail or pitcher by the pool. -Guest room- King-Clean- fridge- view of pool Cons -No food allowed by pool and slim pickens at the snack bar. -Resort fee seemed high. Call and check rate.... -Ricks restaurant was casual but not very good for a Westin. The selection, quality, and the price overall was not to good. I didn't understand the minimal selection. They could do so much more here. I tried to play it safe ordering a burger for $18 and my wife ordered a chicken pasta dish which wasn't very good and dry $28 -Staff were nice here but again your stuck isolated unless you want to drive somewhere for food. We did not try the Sushi place. If a traveler, I would suggest having a car.

2-hr wait for our drinks @ pool & again for our dinners @ hotel restaurant. Not enough help. We paid top dollar but received low-end assistance. After yrs of visiting, don't care if I ever go again.

My first time to Vegas and knew the place to stay was with y'all over then being over on the strip. Boy was I right such amazing views on the drive in and even more once you pull up. One I did pull up I Had James Weitz & Gerald Limlingan all ready for me as I pulled in opening myself and my friends doors greeting us with such friendly manner I immediately felt as they were I haven't seen them in years and they were welcoming me back after being gone for so long. After taking caring of me on the drive and taking me to my room and explaining the "ropes", I got settled Id say more than fair spaceous room I looked out the window for again an amazing view of the mountains.

Very worn out—would have been nice about 10 years ago. Interesting arabesque decor, just too well used. I’m sure it was very elegant in its former glory. It may have potential with a much needed overhaul (top to bottom— rooms to public areas). It really needs an extensive, and probably expensive upgrade. Positive- very nice staff, but I felt bad that they had to pretend that it’s a 5 star… I’d give it a 2.
