The Chicken Shack Valle Verde

Is this location still open? I went here about 2 weeks ago and the soda machine was not working and they were out of the majority of popular sauces. I went yesterday and today and it's closed well before closing time.

Wow. Excuse my french but what a dive this place has become. Last time I was here maybe a month or two ago the soda machine wasn't working. I wasn't told until after I paid. The girl said I can give you extra fries. No big deal. This time I come in and the 2 young guys are just sitting down by the grills and once again the soda machine has only 4 of the 8 options working and the ice tea machine is completely out. My bad for not looking this time. I go to use the restroom, after I ordered and paid, and only one of the two are available. The other was out of order. Inside the one "available" it was disgusting. The toilet seat was broken, the water wasn't working, no paper towels and this was after I had already put soap in my hand. I wish I had went in the restroom first so I could have walked right back out. Think about a restroom that hasn't been cleaned in months and times that by 3. That was the very unpleasant smell inside the restroom. A lady who came in after me must have tried to order 3-4 things off the menu. Each time the guy behind the cash register kept saying "sorry, we're out of that". The food was also very disappointing. I really hope I don't get sick! Unbelievable! How is this place still in business?!

Some of the chicken was ordered with the bbq sauce on in and these were very good. Good flavor and tender. But, most of the chicken we got here was dry so we could add whatever sauce we chose. But these peices were tough and hard to chew. We liked the flavor just hope for more tender pieces next time along with more attentive order taker who didn't read back my order and got wrong. I wanted a 2two piece Meal not a #2 with five pieces. There is a big difference!

Definitely not part of the original chicken shack. Different recipe, fingers looked like nuggets, small and over cooked,. NO FLAVOR. Fries were plain. Soda machine was broken, definitely won't be going back. I'll stick with the one in Boulder City. I wish I would have taken pictures They won't be here long.

Extremely slow and unprofessional service. We’ve been going to the chicken shack on sunset for years and we decided to try the one off of Valle Verde. This is our second time there and both experiences are horrible. If you’re going to chicken shack go to the one off of Sunset or in Boulder city where they care about their customers.

Taste was great! So glad I decided to drive to the place despite Google saying it was closed.

Pretty good food and service reminds me a little bit of the chicken Shack back in Detroit.

Extremely good service. Food was prepared very fast. Chicken and fries were great. Staff was outstandingly friendly. My only negative is that I chose the garlic butter sauce and it was a bit salty. Two thumbs up to these guys

Best service and quality food I've ever had in a chicken chain spot. From to bottom,an even in the back of house. A special thanks to Alexander(Xander) keep up the great work.

Service was good, food was awful. I hadn't eaten at this location in years. $19.99 for 10 piece fingers, out of macaroni salad and Mc n cheese bites. They also charge you for each dip, none is included with the order. Chicken had no flavor, not even the garlic parm, chicken was mushy.

I got clucked up last night! The big cluck is delicious! Really clean store and great atmosphere. Right when I walked in the store, the girl behind the counter (the owner) I was struck by her beauty ❤ Super pretty super nice. I'd like to get clucked up with her sometime, figure we get a couple clucks maybe get a drink after. Sounds like a nice clucking time doesn't it? ??Yall need to go check this place out, hella tastyy'

Not worth it. $16 for a 3 pc chicken finger combo. The hot sauce is oddly sweet, the texture of the chicken was not good (like draggy soap, but chicken…if that makes sense). The poutine fries are ok, but nothing to write home about and not worth the up charge . Old and cheap is how we describe the quality and taste…no idea how this got a 4.3 rating.

Super nice service good food. Bring your wallet. Little pricey compared to other places but still good food.

BOOOOO what the heck happened to this once glorious place?? 2 things: the fries and price. The skinny fries that blew this place up 15 or 20 years ago are gone!! Can no longer go here for that reason. Additionally it's WAAY more expensive now. Did they get bought out? The menu said 5 chicken tenders with no side and no drink was 10 bucks. I ordered only 3 and it came out to $9.30. I used to get that for 6ish bucks and a five piece combo for within 10. How does that make any sense in the world? Been a lifetime fan and chicken still is good but honestly a super sad goodbye.

We usually got to the Boulder City location but tried the lake mead location this time. It was closed by the time we got there and this one showed open an hour later. Sure enough, they stay open an an hour later. This store is bigger and more up to date making it more comfortable while waiting for our food. The BC location has these guys beat when it comes to making the service experience better but the food here is better. Sauce stuck to the fingers and the breading didn't fall off right away.
