The Local at The District at Green Valley Ranch is one of those places that feels instantly comfortable but still a little elevated. The warm lighting, modern finish, and that wall of wine bottles give it a lounge-y vibe that works whether you’re popping in solo or meeting someone out.
The menu leans wine-forward, but it’s not pretentious about it. You’ve got plenty of options across wine, cocktails, and beer, and it’s easy to settle in with something simple and just let the night unfold without feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a laid-back spot in Henderson that still feels like a “going out” moment, The Local is absolutely worth a stop. I wrote a longer breakdown too, so read the full article on Everyday.Vegas.

I went here for the first time this past weekend and will definitely be back again. The service was amazing. The waitress is hilarious. My mom was visiting from the East Coast and I wanted to take her for drinks somewhere not on the strip where locals go. I loved how many regulars were clearly visiting. People kept leaving the door to outside open by our table and every time the waitress would race over to close the door so it didn't get cold. My wine flight was great and my mom loved her cocktail.

Super festive in the bar area-my pix dont do it justice! Nice!🎄🍷The place is on the smaller size so I was lucky to get a seat at bar. The wine list has a bit of everything with a wide price range. I got the premium wine flight- since I was in that kind of mood. The boards offered a smattering of cheeses and meats with olives, jam, cornichons, and little perfect pieces of toasted bread (with no super hard crust-yay!). The bartender was very attentive and the music variety was just right for a quieter Sunday night.

Small, quaint spot with both indoor, bar seating and outdoor area. The staff was friendly. Great selection of whiskeys and wines, plus a food menu to pair with drinks. Three drinks and an appetizer came out to about $70. Good place to catch up with friends or unwind.

Incredible bar with the best bartenders. The cocktails are very well made, wine is great, excellent bourbon selection, and the food is yummy. A warning- this place will become your new second home 💗

Drinks are over priced. Have to sit yourself and it’s a small place. went yesterday evening and it smelt like a porta potty. Sat down and watched a heavy set server sit on his phone and mingle with the other employees. Take pictures of random people at a booth. He threw the menus on the table and never came back. Managed to give another table refills but never came to get our order. Did I swear everything but serve. We ended up getting up and leaving and went to parkway tavern. They were busier and still we were able to order right away.
Don’t bother spending your money here. Go elsewhere. God awful service

I have been here twice and enjoyed the drinks both times. The first time, we ordered drinks with the 8 cheese selection. We all enjoyed the drinks and cheeses.
During this visit, we ordered the Planet of the Aprocots, the Cactus, Nutty by Nature (pictured on left), and Strawberry Fields (pictured on right). I will be returning!

Walked in, no one greeted, so I put my name on the wait-list and went walking around the shopping area. Till this day, never got a call or text about a table being open/ready.

Ceiling was leaking, charcuterie was mid if u tell them you aren't drinking they will bring you a glass and fill it anyways apparently. Watched some lady being obnoxious/annoying that should have been cut off or asked to leave by the bartender 20 minutes prior have the entire bar conspire a fabricated story on this patron to justify one of the regulars beating her up. Any other service worker worth their salt would have been able to handle this situation before it got out of hand but instead they all just stood by watched and then celebrated what happened. They told the gentleman and lady the assaulted woman was with the cameras just happened to be down but I heard someone that worked there say otherwise. Who knows whats is true with how poorly everything seems to be handled in this place but after what I saw happen I couldn't recommend this as a fun or even safe place to be with the lack of accountability of the staff, building issues they won't fix, no surveilance for anyones safety, even the front door is on wrong. One emergency situation and the whole place is cooked. Usually drinks with acceptably mid cheese selection in a good atmosphere will get you far as a wine bar but this place doesn't feel safe for anyone. After 2 visits here I have seen enough.

We came in because the door was opened and the dude behind the door yelled, We aren’t open yet” in a get out of here kind of tone. So won’t ever be back. Sorry we were three minutes early. It’s okay to chill.
Always the best experience here- Lacey and the rest of the staff are fantastic!
This is a fabulous wine bar! All wines are curated by the knowledgeable staff. It feels like it caters to locals. Highly recommended!
