We just found out about this place recently. And been here twice already. I feel sad that they are closing their nevada brance na. This is the nearest filipino restaurant from our place. Their adobo fried rice was the bomb! And big serving too.

Las Vegas, Nevada Thelma's Filipino Restaurant This restaurant has the best Pancit and lumpia ! It's my favorite place to get Filipino food. I recommend this establishment. It has friendly service, plenty of seating space and great food. They also have locations in Hawaii.

Our favorite Filipino foods sari-sari and Thelma’s special. The best in Las Vegas! Aloha and Mahalo! The original in Waipahu, Hawaii.

Called to order take out. Wanted tapsilog with garlic fried rice but only after an hour of opening, they're out of beef. Ok so I asked for longanisa but they were also sold out. Had to call back because wasn't sure what my sister wanted if both were sold out. I could not get through. Always busy signal and I called 76 times! I think they purposely left the phone off the hook so they didn't have to deal with orders. Anyways, my sister ended up going in person and they only had pork tocino. She ordered that and paid extra for garlic fried rice (I felt should of been at no extra cost because of items sold out with barely opening for the day). The end product was very disappointing. I didn't order pork tocino fat cuz that was basically what I got. I would say 3/4 was mainly fat. Thelma's has gone downhill with quality of food. The amount of aggravation we went through to order was not worth the food they gave. Waste of money and never plan on going here again!

My sister's friend had recommended this place. We ate here for lunch, I had ordered the longanisa fried rice. Not too bad. We had also ordered the lechon kawali, it was okay. It took a while for our food to come out but understood that didn't have much help. The staff were very friendly though.

First time going to this place , they tried to play me and not give me my full change ,I had to ask where the rest was .When I went to ask if the food was ready said my they was waiting for my spam musubi , and when I get home there's no spam misub . Then my sinigang that was suppose to come with fish had no fish in it , and vegetables weren't even really cooked , just bad service all around . I was really looking forward to getting some Filipino food , very disappointed.

April 20, 2022 - Our favorite Filipino Food in Vegas is Thelma's. Always great service and delicious food. I do not know how to make some of the dishes that I enjoy. Lechon Kewali (Roast Pork), it's crispy skin, meat and fat, so yummy. But you must eat it with Rice. Lechon Sisig is with Tomatoes and Onions. Squid Guisado is another favorite as well as Mungo Beans. If you never had Filipino food, try the Chicken or Pork Adobo. I enjoy the comfort and relaxing atmosphere and the friendly service. Always answering any question you may have. If the cashier isn't sure of an answer they always ask another employee. Located right outside of Sunset Station and lots of parking. As always head on down for good food with good company and definitely a good meal! P.S. Love that my 18 year old enjoys hanging out with us. So happy he works because he treats us for meals as well.

pancit is bland. tapa is gummy. you can't chew it. even the sunny side up egg is not cooked right. pinakbet is too expensive for the amount of serving you get. disappointed.

Came here at 730p on March 20. Really great and fast service however, the interior needs cleaning and updating.

One of our favorite places to eat. The chicken adobo is amazing along with the Pancit and Lumpia. There are always lots of hungry families in here. Definitely not fast, but always worth the wait. First time in since the pandemic started, we were glad it made it.

Home away from home Hawaii Style Filipino Food. Always a good meal at Thelma's. The Thelma's special, pork adobo fried rice omlette. Pork Guisantis and Sari Sari are my favorites. Don't forget to ask for Pickled Ong Choy.

Really good place to eat or to go. The staff is friendly and they have a good amount of options. The staff was really helpful helping me go through what's on the traditional Filipino food.

I ordered a few things for take-out for Lunar New Year dinner. Placed a phone order and was quoted 20 minutes for pickup. My order: 2 orders of Palabok 2 orders of Lumpia Shanghai Total cost: $34 The palabok was delicious. Noodles were soft, the dish was very flavorful and ingredients were fresh. Lumpia Shanghai was mediocre for me. My only complaint is the portion size for $4.99. Overall, the food was delicious but portion size could be better.

I used to love it here, but the quality of the food and their policies per their cashier has declined. I came in with my family at 5pm. Yelp states they close at 5:30pm and their front door states they close at 6pm, but they should just put that they actually close at 5pm/5:15pm because the way we/ other customers were spoken to there was an expectation to be out of the restaurant immediately. I placed my order and of course asked for the infamous Thelma's special, the cashier said because they were going to close in 25 minutes (it was 5:05pm) they didn't have time to make it. I let that one go, so I asked for pork sigsig next and he said the same thing as it took too long to make. I immediately asked if they were closed at 5:30pm or at 6pm like what their door states, and he caught himself and said 6pm. But stated again the food items will take long to make per the kitchen lady's report. I ordered bangus sinigang, he said they couldn't make it with that, but could do pompano instead. So I just took it. He was going back-and-forth with the kitchen lady to see what she could/ could not make based on the time of closing. However, we came an hour before closing as confirmed by the cashier, yet a lot of the things we ordered could not be fulfilled because they "had no time." We were planning to dine in, so we got our water cups and napkins from the cashier ready to go. The cashier asked if he could serve us in a to go container, which at this point I was whatever about. I stated that we were going to dine in and he was fine with it, but needed our food in to go containers. When he came to our table around 5:25pm with our food it was wrapped up with a bag as if we were leaving, but I reminded him we were eating here and he said due to the time they're unable to allow us to dine in. I reminded him that he told me they were closed at 6pm and why are we expected to leave at 5:25pm, but he changed it to them starting their closing at 5:45pm. What? Which is it, 5:30pm, 6pm, or 5:45pm?! I'm confused and annoyed. I asked him if he could at least give us some plates, napkins, and forks for us to eat our food elsewhere, which he did. He apologized and was respectful, but I didn't acknowledge it. I understand that it isn't his fault, I was very frustrated at the back-and-forth, unavailability of food because some dishes took long to cook, and inconsistency of the information. This frustration goes out to management/ the kitchen lady who was telling him what could/ could not be done. If you guys are going to stop making certain food items stated on your menu at 5pm and not allow people to dine in, then state it on your door and updated it on your website/ Yelp. My family and I went to eat the fried pork, adobo fried rice, pompano sinigang, squid, and pancit we ordered. The rice was wet and mushy, definitely undercooked. It also smelt terrible. The fried pork wasn't even cooked all the way. The adobo omelet wasn't mixed well, there were clumps of white rice in the omelet that wasn't even mixed in. The squid was terribly bitter. The only decent dishes were the pancit and sinigang. The plates and cups he gave us was dirty! They also charged us for 6 additional scoops of rice (with 6 scoops of rice already coming with the dishes, so 12 scoops of rice total) per my order, but it didn't even look like they gave us the entire 12 orders of rice. It only looked like the 6 scoops. I grew up with Thelma's Hawaii and expected the same from Vegas Themals. I've also experienced what it's like when Vegas thelmas actually put time and effort into their food dishes, and it's great. So experiencing the disgusting food and inconsistent information, I don't ever recommend this place. The quality has significantly decreased. If you want delicious Filipino food please look elsewhere.
