Great sushi place! Very down to earth and great bang for your buck and very legit sushi. One of my favorite sushi places in Henderson and Vegas.
This is coming from someone that typically goes for nigiri instead of rolls.
They carry Santa Barbara uni here which I prefer over Hokkaido.

I am Las Vegas born and raised native - and this is one of my favorite sushi spots to come to. The team is always incredibly welcoming and all greet you the moment you walk in (it almost feels like family welcoming you in). And as someone who 8/10 dines alone by choice to enjoy it - this always means the world when I walk in here for it to feel like that.
Additionally, their service is impeccable. In a city full of ‘All You Can Eat’ options, going to a place that isn’t that is wildly refreshing. There is always so much love poured into their dishes and it’s noticeable - unlike so many of the AYCE establishments. And I love the intimacy of the space, as it’s quaint and welcoming too.
They also have THE BEST lunch special in town for sushi (and their dinner special is out of this world too). But I oftentimes come for lunch and order the ‘Sushi Lunch’ combo, and let me tell you it’s the best. For the price and the quality of the food, you cannot beat it (and the chefs always provide an amazing 6 piece ‘Chef’s Choice’).
I have been coming here for many years and will not be stopping any day soon.

Honestly, this is the best sushi I've ever had in the States. I love sushi, but I’ve often had stomach issues after eating it, no matter how fancy the place was. Even at pricey omakase spots, I didn’t always feel great afterward.
This place is different. Everything tastes truly fresh, the food is consistently excellent, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable after a meal here. The uni is especially amazing. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is genuinely friendly. I really hope more people get the chance to try this place.
What an amazing night and it was even better cus our server jenny was absolutely amazing and she was so friendly polite and had such an amazing personality we loved it she made our night memorable thats for sure I'll definitely be back for round 2 cus the service was perfect Jenny is so sweet so if yr in the area come see jenny she will treat you like family 10/10 service

Very possibly the best sushi Ive ever had. Rice also had great flavor. Space is a little small and casual but service and food far makes up for that. Will return. Oh and also to note when they say spicy tuna IT IS spicyyy just to keep in mind.

Toro Sushi is one of those Henderson spots you almost don’t want to talk about because once the secret’s out, your easy seat turns into a waitlist. Small room, no ego, just two guys behind the bar quietly putting on a clinic. James and Jim (Jin) have been doing this since day one, and the place still runs like it matters to them — because it does. Yelp
The fish is clean, cold, and handled with respect. Rice is right. Cuts are confident. Rolls don’t feel like a Vegas magic trick stuffed with sauce to hide mediocrity — they taste like the ocean and a sharp knife. Every time I come in, it’s the same story: consistent, fresh, generous, zero bullshit. I’ve been eating here since they opened and it hasn’t drifted an inch.
If you live in Henderson and care about sushi, this is your spot. If you’re visiting, it’s worth the detour off the Strip. Just do me a favor and don’t make it a trend on TikTok — some gems deserve to stay gems. Highly recommend.
