Old school diner in an old school casino. The patty melt was pretty good, and they were remarkably friendly and welcoming.

Service and atmosphere are wonderful! Not stingy with the ranch, which was nice. The staff clearly care about the place in many ways: cleanliness, friendliness, sevice and even each other. That was very refreshing! However the food was just okay. The fish sandwich was salty and overly hard/greasy and the least edible thing we tried. The soup were incredibly salty, like a condensed Campbell's with no water added. The salmon was overcooked and the asparagus undercooked. The onion rings and fries were good. Prices are really reasonable so I'd possibly give in another chance if I were in the area.

I used to make it a point to visit downtown Henderson and especially the Emerald and Rainbow Clubs. I experienced what was an obvious machine malfunction and the staff were disingenuous and lacked any transparency in how the issue would get resolved. the slot tech said that Everi, the manufacturer would need to be contacted. Brandon, offered me a dinner. The casino manager, Anne lacks any sort of hospitality skills and treated me as if it were my fault. If there is going to be a resolution, wouldn't you want my contact info? Instead, it was take the machine off line at which point she ghosted me, telling me I could call gaming. Unprofessional, more so because this is a locals property. I asked to be made whole for the play on the malfunctioning machine as all line hits would also likely not paid correctly if the bonus didn't trigger either. She acted as if this was fault. I asked for contact info for the owners and she gave the name but refused to provide phone, names, etc. You have to know that you're in the wrong when you won't provide the information to escalate the issue. They violated a trust issue with the players. If the machine malfunctions, we aren't going to refund your money, we will just give you a $10 dinner because we don't actually want to address what happened and make it right. Not a way to do business and not deserving of your gaming dollars until this is resolved

We went on Saturday for the $21.99 prime rib special. It was pretty good, especially for the price. Shrimp, prime rib, salad, baked potato, corn on the cob, and a brownie with ice cream. We were actually able to split that, plenty of food. However, my husband ordered an extra salad. He got the full size vs dinner size, which was still only $6, so how big could it be? Wow! It was huge. It was a large plate, piled high. Price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food. And it was quite tasty. We'll def be back.
My family & I have been coming here for years. We used to love the experience. It’s gone downhill fast! - Lately the food is getting worse & worse. Burned food & orders wrong. A waitress that smells terrible, stinking like she smokes pot. As a Locals are talking about this place & the things said are not Good! —- Hopefully New management comes in & cleans this place up!

This was one of the best cafes I've been to in a while. The food.... Amazing, and that's coming from a chef. The service was spot on. There was someone checking on us and refilling drinks every few minutes. This is a properly run restaurant!!!!! Great staff
