Visited here this past Friday evening. Thank you Desiree for making me my first martini!! It was great! And probably this olive lovers new favorite drink. My S.O and I had a great ending to our evening in the presence of your service. It was a laid back and chill atmosphere.

If you decide to get the French dip or the onion soup do not the gravy or the sauce or the au jus whatever you want to call it it's so salty it's like dumping a salt Shaker down your throat other than that the rest of the fair was very good

Alexis was great, came in with a big group and sat at the bar, and she was on it.

We've been here once before, for dinner. It was nice. At that time, it was still the end of the Rona and if I remember right, the "dining area" was closed. I don't remember what we had, but we both enjoyed our food. Started at 2-seat high table and migrated to the bar to have some drinks and lose some money on electronic poker/blackjack.Fast forward now, couple years later, and a buddy said that he liked their $10 steak and eggs.So today, a holiday (MLK), we went in for breakfast and there was only a few people at the bar, also enjoying breakfast, and one other table occupied. We took a lower 4-person table and the bartender greeted us warmly and said the waitress would be with us shortly. The waitress came out, and handed us the breakfast menu and then added "but our steak and eggs are on the lunch/dinner menu" and handed that to us as well. She knew. The wife ordered medium steak with over-medium eggs. I ordered medium-rare "closer to rare" to emphasize I actually wanted the red center (since most places over-cook it to medium when I say medium rare--I assume because people order it because they think that's what's "in" and then send it back for more fire?) Eggs the same. They were out of hashbrowns, but had...I think she called them "kitchen potatoes"? Anyway, standard country potatoes, cubed and fried. We could have added cooked unions and peppers but both declined.I added coffee and a Bloody Mary, because I felt like a lush today. It felt like it took longer than it should have to get the food, but it probably didn't. I didn't time it and it wasn't bad enough to start wondering what was going on.The food came out and it looked great. The potatoes were pretty standard fair. The eggs looked good, they had that golden butter or butter-substitute tinge. Steak had beautiful grill lines. So, I know when you order cheap steak and eggs for breakfast, you're getting cheap steak. I know this. When I put my fork in, though, there was almost no resistance. "Like butter," as they say. I cut it and--oh my gosh, they cooked it how I asked them to! Hallelujah! Red center, but warm, not cool. Perfect medium rare. For those of you that think medium rare is cooked all the way through--it's not. It's a rare steak left on the heat a few moments more to make sure the center is still raw--but warm instead of cool from the fridge. Same as rare--but warm. Remember that, and be happy. Anyway, I'm a "mouth feel" guy, and I prefer warm over cool. All about feel. The eggs were great--no runny white (over medium) but still perfectly runny yolk.We "upsold" to the half biscuits and gravy instead of toast. It was standard, and fine. Needed a bit of salt, but the flavor was right. Probably pre-made. Biscuits were tender with a slight crunch to the bottoms. Nothing notable, but certainly not bad.If I had to give a "con" I think the only ones would be that there wasn't much seasoning on the steak and I had to salt it myself. That's OK when it's for breakfast. Some people--bad people--like ketchup on everything for breakfast. My wife is one. She prefers to add her own flavor. Sometimes Tabasco. Again, uncultured people, but I digress. #2 would be when we got the bill, the meal was 11.49, not 9.99 like the menu stated. It's not much, and still very much worth it, but the wrong prices on menus are never cool. The bloody Mary was offered "spicy, regular, or medium" and I went with spicy. Also had the choice of what shelf the vodka was. I'm a cheap lush, so I went with well. It came in a beer glass, the garnish was lemon and lime wedges. The flavor was just what you'd expect in a Bloody Mary. I don't know this, but I would guess pre-made Vs house made mix. Good, but it doesn't stand out as one to remember. Hit the spot though, so I'm not complaining. on the weekends, during morning hours, this is 3.50 (as well as their mim

If this is your joint definitely take a good date on 2nd night out... STRIP steak was fresh. Good service here too and conveniently located

I've come to this joint 2 times and idk how to spell the late night bartenders name it's Desiree I believe. It's really hard to understand why this girl is a bartender. I know I'm not a regular or anything but holy shit. She blatantly ignores us and it's not busy. There's 3 other people at the bar. We have had to ask for a drink 3 times and then she still takes her time. It's really difficult to want to stop in there. Have a quick drink after work. A shot. Not even a drink. No food. She serves you and you still have to wait another 20 minutes for her to bring you a chaser when you already have your shot. She then makes smart comments as if WE are being assholes. I've been in the service industry for 30 plus years and idk how she makes money to begin with and how she still has a shift she can't handle. There is no reason for her to be asshole. We don't even want to play there due to this. I work down the street and it's really sad that she can treat people like garbage for no reason. If she can't handle a bar with more than 5 people she should probably have someone working with her or a different shift. I'd have lost my job a long time ago if that was the case. We just wanted a drink.

Bartenders are great! Really friendly . I sometimes stop here after work. But the machines are awful. Basically no promotions and can barely get a pair. I know it's all down to luck , it's just that I know the hold must be so high. I've tried to love this place , many times as I did when it was previously owned. But, I can't become regular. It's a shame , as I can walk there from my home . 4 stars for the staff alone .
