2nd visit and very disappointed. Food was cool and took over 30 minutes to be delivered. Hostess was good but won’t be back. This place won’t last long as it is now. Sorry to have to say that!

I found the food and service above average and there was a fairly decent amount of customers during the lunch hours. I would hate to see them fail. I realize the bottom line needs to be profitable, so I do hope that more people give this restaurant a chance.

We went for the Corned Beef special. One person's meat serving had more fat than meat. The service was horrendous. Our waitress had too many tables to serve and it really had a negative impact on our experience. When our food was delivered we asked for mustard - instead of getting it right away, our waitress took orders from other tables. The food was cold when the mustard arrived. The sun was very uncomfortable and the shades didn't help. One of the shades was broken and we heard it had been broken for several days. I have eaten here many times before and always enjoyed it. I hope this was an anomaly.

Seven friends dined at Yorktown the evening before St. Paddy's Day. We arrived ahead of our scheduled time by 15 minutes, but were seated immediately. We took advantage of the happy hour drink prices before ordering dinner. Five of us ordered the corned beef & cabbage cabbage (served with mashed potatoes) and all agreed it was very good; nicely lean but still tasty. The Reuben sandwich and the Braised Short Ribs were both very good according to our other diners. The wine pours were liberal, and the Jameson Irish Whiskey was a friendly pour as well. The Guinness Stout and Alaskan Amber rounded out our drinks for the evening. The service was great. I thought 4 separate checks might be a problem but he never batted an eye. Even though he had a number of tables to serve, he never failed to offer another drink when a glass was empty or to check how the food tasted a few minutes after having it served. And even though I never saw him write anything down, each bill was prepared exactly as it should have been, even though none of the 3 couples were not sitting “as a couple” (the guys all sat in a cluster, and the ladies did too). We were given a friendly greeting (with a little ribbing added) by Chad upon arrival, and a nice thank you on our departure. Pricing was very reasonable. We'll continue going back. The views looking out the window walls are simply fantastic, especially at sunset. The interior decor is bright and friendly. It's a great place to spend time with friends.

The special St. Patrick's Day corn beef and cabbage included a beer, and that was the best part. Our server was outstanding and friendly. Unfortunately, the cabbage wasn't cooked thoroughly and tasted almost fresh. The corned beef was a generous cut but extremely fatty and the mashed potatoes were cold. I had previously given up on the Yorktown Grill; however the spirit of the Irish persuaded me to return. The food was just as blah as before. It will be a long time for me to return, but to the restaurant's credit, they are trying wine tasting events and other “specials,” like Italian night.

Nice view, quiet atmosphere service was very good. My chicken wrap.....1/3 of wrap had no chicken, just lettuce. French fries were very good. My husbands dip had a soaked bun. He was not happy. His Caesar salad was ok, some of the lettuce was wilted. We will not be returning

We have gone several times to this restaurant. Past experience was not good. This visit was a good improvement. The waiter was excellent. Food was good. Still a little pricey for the ambiance. Very noisy.

The Manager got us started until Jose was able to take over. Jose, and the Manager, deserve 5 stars for service. I don't appreciate the small wine glasses. The wine came, not in proper wine glasses which would allow us the room to swirl the wines, but in tiny glasses. GREAT idea to add mirrors so that the diners sitting with their backs to the view can still enjoy the view. We four shared three appetizers: Bruschetta, Eggrolls and Brussels Sprouts. We enjoyed all of them. The fried Brussels Sprouts had a spicy sauce and were delicious. The Eggrolls came with a sweet chili sauce and were also very good. We started with a basket of soft, delicious bread which was served with two ramekins of SOFT butter! I hate when butter is hard and cold -- you can't spread it. Oh, I spread this butter and it was delicious; cheesy! Subtle but definitely cheesy. (Maybe it was the bread?) Either way, the bread was great. I had the Greek Salad as my entree. It was okay. It was slightly overdressed and the dressing was not special. There were 2 or 3 different types of olives in it but, in a Greek Salad, I want Kalamatas; and I want more of them. I also want more and bigger pieces of feta cheese. My husband's Salmon was excellent. It came with white rice and steamed broccoli; not creative. My friend had the Short Rib and said that, too, was excellent. I had the Apple Cobbler w/vanilla ice cream. Wish I had not ordered it. Other than the few slices of apple, which were delish, I didn't enjoy the dessert. The 'crust' was VERY crumbly; it was like eating dry flavorless crumbs. We received service and water promptly. Our water glasses were refilled. It took a few minutes but we were able to order a second round of wine. LOVE the large-print bill. Prices are reasonable so I will probably return at which time I hope to get wine in appropriate wine glasses.

I had the ribeye. Very tender and I was able to substitute asparagus for the vegetable. My friend had the French dip and she said it was the best she ever had. All around it was superb.

The venue is amazing with a wonderful view of the Las Vegas valley and Strip. Lots of windows for great seating options! The service was fantastic. They recently modified the menu items and I like the improved choices.
