Overall experience was a 3/5. Food alone was a 4/5. Fairly small menu and what we tried was good, just not great. Service, however, was non-existent. We were seated and then forgotten about. Had to leave the table twice to get our server’s attention. You’re better off ordering food to go and serving it to yourself since that’s what we ended up doing. Most patrons were collected around the bar. Didn’t try any of the drinks, so can’t comment on that.

In general very good, but the service is slow.

A little hard to find because of signage but it's in the little plaza near Bite. We didn't have reservations but were able to snag a spot at the bar! Yummy cocktails & nice menu! We had a spicy sushi roll, the duck confit egg roll which actually reminded me flavor wise of crab Rangoon but it was delicious, & finally shared the seafood hotpot. Everything was amazing & the service was excellent too!

Incredible food, one of the top 5 places in Incline Village by far. Everything is amazing, I recommend getting many plates to share so you can try them all! The seafood hot pot was a favorite and the sushi.

We are celiac so we need to be sure the food is gluten free. We have always had grest food and service at Freds. Its simply the best in town.

Not one bad thing on this menu! Extra care taken with every dish. Christine makes the best drinks.

Everything was delicious here! Started with the duck egg-rolls and then we shared the short ribs and the Coffin Bread. I saw the coffin bread mentioned in a few reviews but didn't see any pics so made sure to snap one. Looks like they changed the short rib from a pineapple purée to a potato purée with red wine Demi-glace. (See winter 2022 menu) Still super good but would like to try the pineapple version sometime/ perhaps summer? Service was friendly - the restaurant was full with one waitress so efficient but not super speedy which we were fine with. Thanks to the Yelpers who suggested dressing warmly - on a cold night every time the door opens there is a blast of cold air but we were prepared and were also seated next to the fireplace. Finally it was quite dark in there - saw a few flashlights to read the menu but we already knew what we wanted. We were pretty full by the end of the meal but I'm a s***** for Beignets and they were bomb! The portion was generous so we figured we'd have a few and pack up the rest but they were so light and fluffy that we polished them all off. We will definitely be back!

Great little place with warm fireplace! Service was outstanding and Christine does a great job with the front of the house while Greg does a super job in the kitchen. Cauliflower soup and egg rolls were a great starter followed by braised short ribs and filet migon which were cooked perfectly. Spare ribs were so tender you did not need a knife. Salmon three ways was a delight. We had bingnies for desert. They were good but was expecting them to be more like the NOLA version so was a bit disappointed. It is a bit noisy since it is small with a large bar but overall a great experience was had by all!!

First time trying this restaurant. The service was horrific. It took 30 minutes to have wine opened and poured. The food was also extremely slow. Dinner was 3 hours.. the cost of the food is high and not worth it. The beet small plate was very good. Miso soup was average but served luke warm. The salmon was over cooked and a very small portion for the price. Seafood pot was tasty but too expensive for the amount of seafood in the dish-3 med shrimp and 2 scallops. Basically the large plates are really not. Wouldn't recommend.

Snotty waitstaff I've seen some say. And received the complete snot reception this eve. I walked in they were full. Instead of a "sorry we're full" I received the most obnoxious unwelcoming you're just not wanted here from the waitstaff. Wow. As a part timer in IV I am embarrassed. Doesn't represent the welcoming tone from most proprietors in town. I've enjoyed this place over the years and the waitstaff has always been a mixed bag. Today took the cake. Enjoy the food but expect to be abused.

Waitstaff super snotty. Food is decent but would never go back. Also super loud, seemed more like a singles spot than anything.

Good food & cocktails! We shared the lobster dogs which was really tasty. Then I had their seafood hot pot. Washed everything down with a gingertini drink and it was perfect. Would definitely go back :-)
