My wife and I recently dined here, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the food was well-prepared, the portions were surprisingly small for the price. I ordered the chicken dish, which was mostly bone, with only about 1–2 ounces of actual chicken. As another reviewer mentioned, the portion size was indeed disappointing. We also tried the Caesar salad, which consisted of just two small pieces of lettuce and a bit of dressing—nothing substantial. Because the tables inside were very close together, we opted to sit outside instead. For a $135 bill, I left the restaurant still feeling hungry. On a positive note, the hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Overall, though, I don’t feel this place offers good value for the price.

Joey- Thanks for the wine recommendation for our second nights dinner in three days!
Jerry, great service and attention for three days on the job. You are gonna be our usual host.
Adam, you done good by opening this place in the North Shore. The City’s loss is Tahoe’s gain.
Oh. Btw the food is amazing- soup to nuts. We ordered nearly everything on the menu between two nights.
All great.

Great service and social vibe. The roasted chicken and Dijon Jus was nicely done. The real whipped potatoes were note to include garlic and EVOO…how about no salt and the garlic was not minced in for favor…bland is takeaway. Grilled broccolini…not sure it was actually. It was served chilled with some sort of drizzle adornment that looked like ‘minced garlic’…yet no favor. I asked for ‘grilled broccolini’ not something with a non-reported coating. So great service crew yet the chef needs to ‘taste what they are cooking.’
Delicious food and great, friendly service! Highly recommend!
A justified price for the food compared to local hotel offerings. Staff made a concerted effort to ensure service satisfaction
One of the absolutely best dining experiences we have had! Make sure you enjoy a meal at Rosewood the next time you are in the Tahoe/Incline Village area. The polenta, ribs, salad were all delicious. The service was engaging, warm, and prompt!
I had less than 1oz chicken on my huge bowl of pasta. The bigger horror was the quality of chicken - absolutely dry. I attached a photo to show this.
The pasta tasted of raw dough and gave me an allergic reaction(so if you are a person that requires hypoallergenic stuff I recommend going elsewhere or grab something from Raley's next door)
Our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive.
We were seated next to the door and the table next to us was vacant this whole time.
Bad food. Bad seating. And bad atmosphere(the place is tiny and extremely congested). Pretentious and a big avoid.
Best restaurant in town with great food, drinks and service! We always get great service and everything just comes together here- which is rare these days. The owners know what they are doing and most staff have been there since the beginning.
First time trying the place. I walked in and was immediately swallowed by a decadent hum—people swirling glasses of deep red, their laughter rising like jazz notes in a speakeasy. The hostess greeted me with the kind of charisma that says, “You’re in good hands tonight.”
I started with the mushroom soup—an earthy, steaming bowl that tasted like the forest after a fresh rain. Deep, soulful, like something a hunter might dream of. Then came the arancini: golden, crispy shells that gave way to creamy risotto, smothered in a red sauce that sang with just the right acidity. It was the kind of dish that made you close your eyes for a second, just to live in it a little longer.
The main was a beautifully seared sea bass, flaking apart at the touch of my fork. Dressed in a herbaceous pesto with pine nuts scattered like little secrets across the plate, it was vibrant, layered—both rustic and refined. It rested on a bed of mashed potatoes drenched in a silky garlic sauce that brought the whole dish home in the most decadent way.
I ended the meal with a glass of Sauternes, golden and indulgent. It lingered like a velvet curtain falling after a perfect performance—sweet, slow, and unforgettable. A dessert nightcap that kissed the palate and disappeared like a dream.
I went here 2 nights for dinner during my short stay in Incline. Food was impeccable and so was the service, plus the drinks were generously portioned. Considering the location, can’t beat the price for what you get. Hoping this place stays for good so I can return and enjoy more.

Left full but unimpressed. Bartenders were rude and I honestly don’t understand why people rave about this place. Won’t be coming back.
Best food in north lake. Best folks serving/ managing/ owning. ?? Thank you Rosewood for giving us unpretentious vibes, unbelievable food, and locally owned business.

The staff here were very attentive, helpful and dedicated to making our dining experience enjoyable. The food is very well prepared and presented. The menu is kind of small with a choice of seven entrees. But, they are quite creative and diverse. We had Mary's chicken, Chipotle baby back ribs and pistachio crusted halibut. The Brussel sprouts are some of the best I've ever had.
As for the atmosphere, it's seems to be a trendy crowd and it was extremely loud. We had difficulty trying to hear each other across the table.

We were up in Tahoe for the long weekend and ended up eating here two nights because we were so impressed the first night we tried it. We are total foodies and disappointed in new restaurants we try more often than not, but not at Rosewood. The food is super fresh, the service is on point, and because they serve 2 sides with every entree, you can experience lots of different tastes in one sitting. HIGHLY recommended if you are in the area. Very impressive.
