Thai Recipe is the only Thai option in Incline Village unless you’re up for a 30-minute drive to Truckee. Some of their dishes are truly delicious. My favorite is the eggplant with beef. The Pad Thai, in my opinion, is just average.
Their weekday lunch specials are a great deal, and the ambience is warm with authentic Thai décor. The service is generally good, though the staff can be a bit stretched since they’re often very busy. While they may not always be the most attentive or friendly, the food makes up for it.
All in all, Thai Recipe does a solid job of satisfying a Thai craving while you’re at the lake.

The food was delicious. We ordered the naked shrimp salad, tom yum chicken soup and green curry with chicken. Everything tasted great, special mention for the nude salad - the salad dressing had the right balance of spices, salt, sugar and acidity, just too good!

We always make sure we stop by at least once when we visit North Tahoe. The Tom Khah is delicious and the staff is friendly.
P.S - if you found a red and burgundy wallet with the letter “C” on both sides—please reach out, I lost it on my last visit.

Ordered on 8:15, was told the food would be ready i. 40 minutes. They keep postponing the delivery, still didn’t receive at 9:31. When I asked the waiter please can you prepare the order. They said they are busy and told me to go inside the kitchen and check what’s going on and how busy they are. Never faced anything weirder than this at any restaurant ever. They should not take order more than their capacity.
Took one hour and 20 minutes to prepare the food. Why take orders when you can't deliver on the food on time?
