Best dive bar in incline!! Don't let the weird other pics fool you. Really enjoyed my time here.Bridget doesn't work here anymore, buy Darian does!

Bite is our favorite restaurant to visit in Tahoe. The quality of food, fantastic service and amazing creative cocktails always impress us. During this visit we enjoyed the burrata, stuffed peppers, ahi sliders and mac and cheese. Everything was fantastic!

Wayne the bartender is a homie and makes it feel like a local bar every day.

On a road trip and needed to stop somewhere in Tahoe area for dinner. This place was en route to our final destination and seemed perfect after a long day of driving. I made a reservation to ensure we would have a table. We arrived 15 minutes early and they seated us right away and with a smile. We ordered the arugula salad, cheeseburger sliders, halibut tacos, scallops and raspberry key lime pie. Every bite was delectable but I especially enjoyed the scallops. The flavor combination is unique but it works and it leaves you wanting more. For the record, you receive 2 scallops, 2 sliders and 4 tacos. I would say each menu item is a serving size for 2 people. Mind you these are tapas size servings so don't expect a huge amount of food. My husband loved the sliders and the key lime pie was a nice end to the meal; not too heavy and just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely eat here again so I could try the other menu items! Oh yeah I also ordered a mock-tail, Hip to be Square. Personally I would just save the $9 next time. While it tasted good and was refreshing, there wasn't anything to really set it apart from being just a "soda"

Traveling through Victoria I spotted this place; loved the outdoor patio with all the flowers. Had "lettuce wraps"; first time since Covid started. They were great! I ate them all. The service was great as was the wine; had two glasses! Would recommend this place for travelers.

Food is delicious and it’s a wonderful way to eat with friends. The shareable plates encourage great interactions. The bartender is great and Brooke will offer knowledgeable wine suggestions.

Not your usual tapas bar or restaurant. While the menu is not large, the taste and quality of every dish we had was great. Our choices included the Arugula salad, prawns, scallops with kimchi and a lightly fried cheese served with honey and pistachio. Wow. Nice wine list and full bar. Service was prompt, informative and excellent. You can order one at a time or several together. Come with several friends or family so you can try everything. Not inexpensive, but good value for you $.

Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Had knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service. We were worried about tapas being too light, I assure you we left delightfully full and satisfied. Highly recommend Bite!

The food here is impeccable! We loved EVERYTHING we ordered! There was not a single dish that didn’t sing! We ordered the Brussel Sprouts, Burrata, Crab Cakes, Prawns, Macaroni and Cheese, then a Pot de Creme to finish it off. It was all delicious! My favorite was the Burrata- this has to be one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! The service was also impeccable and well timed. Also, the atmosphere is lovely. Very tasteful and chic. Absolutely loved everything about Bite!

Never disappointed in this restaurant that we've visited many times. Flavors are unique and delicious. Only problem is we're always too full to order dessert. The cocktails are amazing too.

So we booked this reservation as our only "reservation dinner" for our little getaway weekend to Tahoe. We stayed at the Hyatt, so it was recommended and close. We got in and the vibe was cool, but the other customers seemed really snooty. I swore I heard some old white dudes talking about their recent investments or their income properties or just having the kind of conversation that is all about bragging instead of actually having a good time with friends. My wife and I in our jeans and not-trashy-but-not-bougie attire felt a little out of place. All this aside, our server made us feel amazingly welcome, and gave us his recs. We ended up starting with the Brussels, the Gnuddi, the Dungeness crab Cakes, and the Lamb Chops. When I say the Brussels were the best I've ever had, those are normally fighting words amongst my friends. I have multiple friends that swear they make the best Brussels ever, but I've never scarfed Brussels down like I did at bite. Not bitter. Perfect amount of lemon and seasoning. The Gnuddi was ridiculous. We love mushrooms, so this was like fancy ravioli with our favorite flavors. The crab cakes tasted like 16 Dungeness crabs were compacted into these perfect fluffy little flavorful cakes. Not fishy... crabby. Delicious. The lamb chops were perfectly flavored and tender and the farro underneath was a perfect compliment. My wife ordered the Dire Wolf cocktail. The server said it was similar to an old fashioned, but it was definitely WAY more drinkable and refreshing than an old fashioned. It had old fashioned meets mojito with all the good and none of the bad kinda vibes. Because everything was so good, we ordered more food. The bacon wrapped dates were a bit too rich and cheesy, so those were the one item we wouldn't order again. The scallops were PERFECT. And the Prawns were the perfect combination of Korean spicy over a balanced refreshing crispy slaw. No joke... best dinner we've had in a long time. Give it a try when you're in town!

The staff was welcoming and friendly. We tried the Medjool Dates, Burrata, Grilled Prawns, Jicama Wraps and the Dungeness Crab Cakes. The Medjool Dates were good, but it was a little too sweet for our taste. The burrata was good. The Grilled Prawns were delicious and our favorite dish. The Jicama Wraps were interesting, and it was a good vegeterian dish. The Dungeness Crab Cakes were a bit on the bland side. The parking can be tight and limited during the busy hours, so plan accordingly. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will defintely visit again to try some of the other dishes next time.

What a great local bar! We got stranded in Incline Village this week during the snowstorms, and were stoked to find this place. Solid drinks and beers. Super friendly bartenders. Great location. And the name describes the vibe...local, which is just the way we like it. We will definitely be coming back!

Great food, drinks, wine list, and ambience! We were in Incline for 2 nights and ate both of our dinners here because the first meal was so great. I think we ate almost everything on the menu, and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Tonight I witnessed something impressive. Bartender Brenna handled the largest crowd in The Local history. Along with serving the regular crowd she was swamped with the annual Santa Pub crawl. For over 2 hours she was swamped with orders and handled it professionally, with Christmas cheer and the occasional dancing. If you could give more than 5 stars this performance deserved it.
