If you're reading this review, you already know that Jarbidge is a place you want to visit and yes, the Red Dog is the saloon you want to be drinking at! Obviously, there aren't too many other choices in town but even if there were, this is still the place I would recommend if only because it's just so cool and explodes with the kind of charm you'd hope to find in remote living ghost town in the middle of nowhere Nevada. Of course, it doesn't hurt that...
On the advice of a friend of mine, I dropped into this small town at the end of December just to get away from it all. What a treat! Jason and Jane were super friendly, and I had a great time hanging out and drinking the night away with other friendly folks. The wood-heated bar was as cozy as could be with temps in the teens outside, the food was excellent, and the drink selection astounding. I'll be back.
