I see most of the reviews are likely from before owners changed hands.
They charge almost $10 for an appetizer claiming ground chicken in a fried wonton wrapper. This is what we got. Can't find the chicken? Look closely in the middle and see the chicken provided in the wrapper. A piece not even the size of a quarter. My call to the restaurant fell on deaf ears although at the time I had yet to find any chicken.
While the wonton soup is OK, for $15, well it seems that most restaurants don't give you your money worth.
The final dish was pad cha (sp?). Now this may well be an authentic dish (I have nothing to compare to) i asked not to add any spice to begin with, as my wife was going to try it. ( I prefer a medium heat level.)
I was told that the base has a fair amount of heat, so I told them not to add anything to add heat- but it tipped the scale IMHO as at least a medium or more without adding anything to make it spicier.
Personally I didn't find the taste to my liking. But that is my opinion.

Used to be good
I will be dreaming about this place until the next time I order. We had the 9 Thai fried rice with chicken (level 2 spicy) and the Drunken Noodles with chicken (level 3 spicy). The flavor was divine, I will never forget my first bite of the Drunken Noodles. Customer service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations.

Worst yellow curry Ive had in Vegas. Curry tastes more like a gravy than a curry. Tons of sugar in it, no creamyness or coconut flavor. Meat and veggies were overcooked.
Pad See Ew was good. The place is clean. Service is good. The food was served fast.

This is very disappointing. The chicken satay is very small for $13. I heard them in the kitchen say oh this chicken is dying. Then right before they brought out my order i heard the microwave going off. This tastes like rubber. Clearly not fresh. Not worth $27 for a thai iced tea and this. There are better thai spots on Rainbow or over by the 24 hour gym and ihop in summerlin

What a gem! Always a pleasant experience whenever we go there. Family owned restaurant, cooking authentic Thai food with mama chef in the kitchen (she used to be a head chef at a restaurant on the Strip). Service is excellent, always on point with refilling our water and other food request. Tom kha, satay, glass noodles soup, various types of fried rice, crispy pork, crispy duck, and not to forget the desserts! Aroy mak mak!

I am deeply disappointed with the chicken Panang curry. The portion of chicken was significantly reduced, resulting in a soup-like consistency. While the taste was satisfactory, the chicken portion was inadequate.

This used to be mine and my boyfriend’s FAVORITE Thai spot. I would recommend it to everybody. It was my favorite spot for years. I moved away from the area and just ordered it last night for the first time since probably September or so. Like others are saying, it must have changed ownership, which is truly unfortunate. The prices were way higher, the portions were smaller, and the flavors were not good. The quality of the rice was noticeably worse as well. I ordered the pad Kee Mao, which I normally get, and there was just a random assortment of vegetables that didn’t match the flavor profile at all and that never used to be in the dish. It also wasn’t spicy - which was one of my favorite things about 9 Thai previously, that I could get TRUE Thai spice. I used to order a level 8. They now only have 5 spice levels instead of 10, and they gave me a 4, which was not spicy at all. They also changed the ingredients in my boyfriend’s favorite dish.
Also, they don’t have coconut milk anymore. I’m vegan and used to order the Thai tea with coconut milk, but now they only have half and half. I got it without milk, but the new Thai tea servings are MUCH smaller than previously. They are also sickly sweet, whereas they used to be more of a true tea flavor.
My boyfriend picked up the food and showed me photos of the inside, which is super depressing as well. It used to be so fun and had such personality, but now it’s sterile-looking and decorated with tacky decor. We used to be regulars here and the cashiers and servers knew us, but he didn’t recognize the man working last night, and when he asked if ownership had changed, the man had zero knowledge or info to give. Really unfortunate. Guess I’ll have to find a new spot which really sucks
Used to be a regular but unfortunately, I'll have to find a new favorite Thai place.
Must've changed ownership because they've removed a few of my favorite things off of the menu, and changed the recipe to my favorite dishes.
I dined in a few days ago and ordered the drunken noodles like I usually do. The portion was smaller than usual, there were ingredients in the dish that aren't listed on the menu, and it did not taste as good as it used to.
My girlfriend ordered the coconut ice cream which tasted alright but we imagined it'd be more than one little scoop, especially when they charge $13 for it.
Least importantly, the interior has been completely redesigned and scrubbed clean of any personality. Where there were once the sights and sounds of Thai streets and street food playing on the TV, there is now the same pop songs you hear on the radio everywhere.
It really broke my heart to see this restaurant that has been my favorite Thai spot for years, change so negatively like this. I hope more regular customers feel the same and it inspires the comeback of the old 9 Thai kitchen greatness

Not sure if this changed owners or what, but the food wasn’t as good anymore this last time and decorations are different. Drunken noodles had no flavor, the curry wasn’t as good, and my favorite, the crispy chicken curry is no longer on the menu.
