By far the BEST place for sushi and sashimi! Had a get together for a friend's birthday here and honestly was so amazed at how fresh and delicious everything was! We enjoyed the sushi platters, the staff was kind enough to split the platter into two portions for our table of 7 to share comfortably without reaching over each other. Also got a bunch of other dishes for us to try and did not disappoint. The Bang Bang Sake ikura Uni Don was fantastic! I dont have enough high praises for these guys so go check them out! :D

Although it is not operated by Japanese, the food was really great and service was average!! Not cheap but at least what you paid is what you got. The sashimi and alcohol selection is good. We kept on going back for more. Must try the fusion sushi rolls. You must call for reservation...don't be fooled by OpenTable. They don't use it.

Folks, don't be fooled by many positive reviews here. They tricked the customers into leaving good reviews by offering 15% discount so people felt obligated to leave a$$ kissing reviews. Seriously, this was the second worst Japanese restaurant owned by non Japanese I have ever visited in my life and will never go back again( this place was always empty even before pandemic. So definitely they will be gone out of the business soon) I ordered seafood ramen and to my surprise, there was kimchi everywhere even though the menu doesn't say that there is kimchi. My ramen way too spicy, tasted so slimy and the noodle was obviously not fully cooked. GROSS I refused to eat anymore and asked the server why there was kimchi on the ramen and told her straight that my food was totally uneatable. My husband was not happy with his Japanese fried rice with kimchi on the side either. The server was nice and polite... she explained that they are Koreans and this place is Japanese Korean fusion restaurant so all the food comes with kimchi. Anyways she apologized and offered me to bring something else so I ordered fried rice without kimchi for to go since he already finished the half of his food(and he refused to eat anymore) He asked her to pack up the ramen I ordered for to go as well then he could try at home. We got home and I tried the fried rice. Yep it tasted slimy and nasty. Yikes... My husband took a bite out of my ramen leftover and yep he didn't wanna eat anymore. We ended up dumping all the food we spent more than $40 for and we have ZERO regret. I just didn't throw them away in the trash can in the kitchen, I went outside to toss them in the dumpster because I didn't wanna remember the slimy flavor in my mouth anymore. I usually have no problem with Korean owned Japanese restaurants as long as they offer decent food( for example, I love Sushi Ya on Decatur and Twain) but this place is different. They serve you mediocre at the best quality Japanese food and dump kimchi on the top which is lame. For just the quality of food, I would give zero star if I could but at least the decor and the service were great so they might deserve one star

So Classic! And absolutely delicious. Stumbled in after a long day of climbing. Definitely coming back whenever we are in Vegas!

I thought the interior of this place had a very welcoming and colorful feel with the interesting masks/demons. I tried their house special-the mixed intestine stew as well as the chicken katsu. The katsu portion was the largest I ever seen in Vegas; their curry was spot on with flavor and the corn really completes the dish. Out of all the chicken katsus I have had in Vegas this one really stands out against staples like Zen Curry and Katsuya Ton Ton. As for the intestine stew, let me remind you if you have a weak stomach or don't like spicy food you should skip it. But I love spicy food! Once again, the proportions were huge. The broth was your typical spicy Korean soup. What I really liked was the pork stomach, you could tell it was cleaned properly and the crunch was almost perfect. Then there was the intestine part of the stew, I must say it looked like macaroni but tasted like heaven. I would come back because the food and portions were just so/too much and the service was awesome!

Miso soup is way too salty. Kimchi is old. The ramen tastes straight out of an airport. The Katsu is just straight up american fried chicken with panko on top. Please settle for better if you're in the area. Any self-respecting asian would stray far away from this place.

I had the spicy intestine soup and it was really tasty. This soup had lots of great flavors harmoniously put it together. Price was also, great thing about this restaurant. We were total of four people in our parties and it was under $55 with tax and tips. Service was great as well.

Was the only customer at around 4 on a Saturday afternoon. Their deal is noodles but being a contrary SOB I ordered a rice bowl. Tonkatsu don and a side of gyoza. Everything was fine if different. The gyoza were deep fired not pan fried. The tonkatsu was different from what I expect from a more traditional Japanese restaurant but handsomely presented and a lot of food. Only later did it dawn on me that no tonkatsu sauce was presented on the side and none drizzled on top. I should have asked but being old and slow it didn't hit me until I got home with the leftovers what was missing. Nice presentation. The server was attentive but then it was only me she had to deal with. And I expect to order, be presented with food but otherwise left alone.

Once again, I have to thank my neighbor foodie Nippon-phile friend, for introducing this wonderful gem of an Izakaya to me! Tonight, our party of 3 braved pouring rain to pay this '1.5 hrs per sitting time limit' restaurant a try and based on the amazingly enjoyable experience we had, the drive and effort was well worth it. The 'Price to Quality to Value' of the food offered at this place was un-matched! The premium fish only Sashimi platter of 'Sake, Akami, Hamachi, Shima-Aji, Kanpachi, O-Toro and Madai' featured some of the freshest fish I have had in the GTA....be it in Japanese, Korean or Chinese operated establishments! Generous portion and amazing quality for the price! The taste sensation and memory of those melt-in-the-mouth, sans fiber and sinews, O-Toro pieces still lingers on! The unique Chef's special ' Milky seafood broth King Crab Ramen ' has a very delicate, umami flavor profile and the 7 pieces of huge crab leg pieces made this bowl an unbelievable value. The Prime Angus Tataki, Red Crab meat salad with Tobiko and the Grilled salt-cured dried Skate wing all deserve commendable mentioning for their tastiness. The owner of the Izakaya is a Sake expert and a number of his certificates were on display. As such, the number and variety of Sake listed on the Sake menu and on display must be one of the largest I have encountered outside of Japan. Pity I am not a Sake connoisseur to decipher and appreciate all that? We love the food so much we spend $25 to join their VIP club which entitles us to 10% discount on food during future visits!

Just get the house special intestines pot, it's their specialty here. Everything else like the ramen etc was meh. Spicy level can be changed by adding spices so don't worry if the soup looks too red. The small intestines was too chewy, the tripe was non edible (too tough!) but I could eat the soft large intestines forever. Pricey but worth it for a night out with friends. You can share the pot with 3/4 people with no problems, just ask to refill the soup.
