Service was impeccable. We both chose a red snapper for dinner. The fish was so fresh and beautiful! Bright clear eyes, almost felt like it was just pulled out of the water. We began with the Roasted Prawns. Perfectly cooked, lightly charred, with a nice hit of heat, just enough to wake up the pallet but not enough to burn. Next was the Caesar salad. Really simple, it was outstanding in every aspect. If you are looking for LARGE portions like that at Raos & Lavo you are at the wrong place. These are well-thought-out dishes were the taste trumps the quantity. But, in our case we were thoroughly satisfied.
The whole experience was amazing and I'm already planning my next trip. I was satisfied after the salad and charred octopus (soooooo goooood), and still had 2 courses and dessert to go! Everyone there made it a terrific experience. I can't say enough good things.
