I joined a group of friends for Sunday brunch and had a lovely time. We all ordered the same dish and I had the bottomless mimosas. The staff was good and we enjoyed our time together. Next time I will forgo the bottomless menu and order some better quality wine. The price was reasonable but I would suggest quality over quantity.

Usually when we go to Americana we get amazing service and the food is always awesome, but this time my friend and I had the worst dinner experience we have ever had. It took our server 20 minutes to greet us and then we didn’t get any bread until about 40 minutes in. Our appetizers were good but when we asked for more bread and some salt our server gave us a really weird look, and then it took 30 minutes to get that bread. Our entrees came out an hour and 20 minutes after we ordered (we also ordered them at the same time as the appetizers). We were also missing an item and when asked about it we got another look and it took another 15 minutes to get it. We also kept adding salt to our pastas as the sauces were bland. Overall was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had mainly because our server never checked on us and made both of us feel very uncomfortable. We were sat at 7:15 and did not leave until 9 because of how long everything took. I honestly will never come back and would not recommend to any of my friends or family who like to go out to nice dining places, as this place was not it at all.

Beautiful luncheon with 13 ladies from the Sun City Summerlin Dance Company. The restaurant was so gracious and let us do a photo shoot on their premises. I had the tuna poke salad, which was phenomenal.Vegetarian options: Salads availableDietary restrictions: Gluten-free optionsParking: Had to park on the street. There are so many wonderful restaurants in this Desert Shores commercial area that parking is hard to find.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, but this is a leisurely meal atmosphere. Children should be able to sit still. Customers don't come here to tolerate unruly behavior, including banging on tables and screaming.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is street level.

Great view and a pleasant atmosphere. We were a party of 4, walked in at 11:37am, right as the restaurant opened. One couple seated and the rest of the restaurant was empty. Server took our water order, my glass had something floating in it. I asked for another glass. She never brought me one, luckily I had a bottle of water in my bag. It was about 30min from the time we ordered, 2 beef and 1 salmon burger and a pasta due to lack of vegetarian or vegan options. The beef burgers were tasted burnt, not just well done, but burnt. The bread basket was the highlight of the meal and the view the high point of the visit.Vegetarian options: One pasta dish and salads, besides the Caesar, were the only somewhat vegetarian options.

My son treated me to Sunday brunch at the Americana. We both had versions of the chicken sandwich with smoked bacon. Good choice.

We sat at the bar. Two light Bud’s and a nacho. That nacho dish was huge! And real good. The bartender however was a bit grumpy. Upto a point where we asked him if we did something wrong. We didn’t he said. Although he was polite, we didn’t like it much.

Amazing happy hour!! Quality large portions, with decent cocktails for their HAPPY HOUR 3pm-6pm (daily/closed Monday) is an incredible steal!!! And then they also have a WEEKLY WEEKDAY $50 for 3 courses + AYCD (all you can drink) wine?!! If you go Tuesday or Wednesday, a pianist is playing. You can stroll around the small plaza, or stroll down the street where the lakes are too! Quick happy hour date! Became a full dinner and drinks instead but for under $60!Justin, bartender, was super welcoming. He walked over to us in the bar with an enclosed patio seating area to explain their happy hour, and special activities. He shared all their Specials ---Happy Hour 4pm-6pm on Tuesday-Sunday at the Bar and Lounge Seating area.- Tues w/ $1 Oysters-$1.50 Rockefeller Oysters.- Decently Strong Drinks: $3-$4 beer, $5-$7 wine, $5 wells, $7 upgraded well cocktails. Large Portion Food: $8 Salad, Soup, $9 Calamari, $10 Shrimp Tacos (3), Linguine, $12 Burger, Chicken Breast, $21 Iron Steak Meal.Plus!!- Weekly Special Tues-Friday, $50 for 3 courses and AYCDrink red and white wine??!!! Menu changes each week.- Wed and Thursday: Pianist playing in the dining room area.- LVAC discount on non-specials in the dining room.Vibes remind us of a chill coastal town restaurant bar. People are casual and nice at the bar. Great place for a nightcap, or even coming individually/single party. What we tried this time:Happy Hour offered large portions, and decently strong drinks. We actually had interest in trying a non-HH salad and cocktail but we were too full.- $9 Sweet and Sour Calamari was wayyyy better than expected. I thought it was going to be overly powered in sweetness, or soaghu sauce. But it was a bit crispy, and fun to eat. I didn't feel like I was eating candy. The shredded lettuce soaks up the sauce a bit and balances the dish out.- $12 Prime Burger was a pretty beefy burger. Medium rare beef was hefty. For anyone looking for a low carb meal, this is great!! We were going full carb so we enjoyed it all. The SO are my cheese for me, and dressed his burger with side thousand island style of sauce.- $7 Upgraded wells cocktails like old fashioned and margaritas were incredible steal!! We were expecting dive bar quality cocktails (usually horrible, reason ppl order only two time ingredients drinks at dive bars). But it was definitely not dive bar quality. I'd say it could be today's $9 drink for someone who is picky but for most ppl, I think this could be a $12 drink.Cocktail wise, I wouldn't expect a mixologist level but it's pretty good for its pieces and as a local restaurant. I'm impressed and plan to come back to figure out what type of drinks they specialize in....it was old fashioneds, but ours was pretty decent and strong. Apparently they have 7 types of espresso martinis?! We're looking forward to trying their other specialty cocktails.

Happy hour here is amazing! Justin, the bartender, is fun and efficient. The prime burger is addictive. And Tuesday oyster night is wonderful! Very limited seating, so get there early!

Love the Harvest menu but the petite ribeye was disappointing. It was more gristle &fat than meat. Hope we can see better quality in the future. All other menu items have been excellent in comparison. Thanks

We had a wonderful experience at Americana. Would recommend to everyone looking for a nice dining location. Food was awesome, staff was friendly and professional. Their recommendations were right on. Dessert was delicious. Steve, we appreciate you making our dinner so special and giving us a tour. I've told everyone they need to come and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!!

Have eaten at Americana many times and it is consistently fabulous. The Harvest pre fix menu is absolutely the greatest deal in town. Very relaxing with lake view and outdoor eating in the spring and summer

Loved this restaurant so much. Celebrated our 25th year wedding anniversary here. We had a table right next to the window inside as it was too cold to sit outside. Would be great if they added heaters outside. The view was amazing as the sun was going down. The food and service were excellent.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. The initial hostess did give me the wrong menu. I ordered the froie gras and that was good. I would come back for that. My boyfriend had the octopus and it was a little fishy. He had the steak Diane and it was fantastic. I ordered the filet and it tasted overly gas grilled and sour. Something in the sauce also made the veggies taste sour as well. I also had the birthday desert and it was just ok. Overall wouldn’t come back. View was good service and staff great. Good wine on hand. Food was not ok for me. I’ve had Applebees steaks better than what I had.
