Bar at Times Square

This place was my favorite spot from all at the New York New York! The vibe was so cool, chill and you can stand by the bar and pay $5 per person or sit and pay $20 I believe per person. All the music and requests were on point and the pianists make it so fun! Drinks were good, not great, just good but the ambiance is amazing.

Very poor service, bartenders rude, they don’t comp drinks if you are younger than 40, pianist are great, vibe is great, until you try and order a drink. Bartenders trash, random guy and I playing bar computer games, he ordered me a drink, bartender spazzed on us, my new friend and I immediately cashed out and left. Sucks because this place is cool. I will name drop when I get their names. Yoshon and Demetri are not great.

Lots is fun but those to parents wanting to go with their underage minor children, think again.. since they serve food, I was hoping I could go with my 17 year old early in the evening. It was 8pm but they turned us away on a Sunday night. Bummer! Three more years!

I am so surprised to see these bad reviews. Our experience was completely different. My sister and I found this place after the Mad Apple show on Wednesday 2/5. Due to some untimely injuries, my sister and I both were on scooters. The guy at the door, my apologies, I don't remember his name, was very kind. He made a spot for us to park our scooters and informed us that on the right there were chairs with a cover charge and on the left was SRO at the bar. Since it was late we decided to pass when the doorman offered to bring us stools if we wanted to go to the bar. How nice. We had only intended to stay for a bit anyway. The bartender Mike greeted us with a sweet smile. We ordered some wine. $15.00 a glass which is pretty standard for Vegas and a decent size pour. I am a career bartender and found Mike to be very attentive. His bar was busy, yet he kept an eye on our drinks always making sure they were full. We chatted a bit, talked about the Eagles band. I showed him the Eagles tattoo I have on my arm. I wanted to take him home with me. 😯
We did send a song request in with a $5.00 bill. Our song was not played but we just assumed they had several requests in front of ours. We stayed longer than planned as we were having such a good time and the entertainment was absolutely awesome!! When we got back to the Horseshoe where we were staying we sat up and talked about how great the night was. Mad Apple plus the dueling pianos made for a fantastic night. Thank you.

Ripoff. Won't play your songs for less than 20. Played songs they wanted or highest price. Took all smaller money and threw requests in the trash.

The bartender was not the friendliest and the dark haired lady piano player was rude about playing a song she was tipped to sing. We will go elsewhere next time. Expensive cover charge to be left disappointed.

The bouncer was super rude and I was actually shocked you have to pay to go in just to sit there when you’re already going to buy food and drink. I thought that was ridiculous. We ended up just getting pizza from this place 5 steps away and the music was so damn loud you could hear it just fine from there, but it sounded pretty crappy. Also didn’t have to pay $30 to go in. 🙄 save your money.

Guy letting us in was horrible… wouldn’t let me back in cause the stamp he gave me wasn’t in the right place… makes me rethink ever going back…

As a cost that has waited to experience the dueling piano bar for years, I’m extremely disappointed!! Sitting at the bar around 6 pm knowing that the show doesn’t start until 8 pm. We we ok with that. As our friends from Jacksonville were told they had to give up their chairs unless they wanted to pay was ridiculous!! When I asked the person in charge how much the front row would be he questioned my intention with attitude!! When I told him I wanted to buy all the front row seats he became aggressive for some reason he became more aggressive when I told him I was a law enforcement officer. Then proceeded to call for backup for some reason! What a joke! Get the little fella out of his position before he gets hurt 😂😂 just wanted to experience the show for once but the insecure “manager “ had some other motive! He claimed his daughter was a cop and I hope she has better intentions than him!! Best of luck and thanks for ruining my evening!! So sad that I put my life on the line for insecure people like him! Way to ruin my first time at your establishment! Apparently $300 wasn’t enough spent for two people before your Sunday show!!

Entry was $30 per person! No mention of a cover charge online. The music was so very loud that it was awful. I felt like my ears were bleeding. It was louder than any concert I have been to and the acoustics, low ceiling and closed doors made it echo. I would not return. Another group came in, paid and within 30 minutes left as it was too loud for them. I would suggest ear plugs but know that it will only help maybe 20%. The music was all older songs and not my top choices. The pianists tried to nickel and dime everyone by trying to get people to pay $30-$100 to play good songs. The waitress (and food) were great as she equally could not hear our order, and we had to write it down. She was doing her very best. Again, I would try a different venue next time.
