I originally just wanted a quick meal by myself and stumbled upon Taps & Barrels Beerhouse by accident — and honestly, it really surprised me. I liked that I could serve myself and didn’t have to talk to anyone, which was exactly what I was looking for that day. The food was tasty and paired well with the drinks, and the self-serve beer setup was a fun and convenient experience. The place is also quite spacious, making it perfect for big groups or parties. Service is always quick, drinks are good. Is it friendly? Well, it depends on which bartender is working. Some of them are pretty cool, others not talking much. Which is understandable. I work with people daily, and sometimes I get tired of them.“
