Blue Octopus - Premium Sushi & Grill

I always look for a good Korean restaurant when I travel and this place did not disappoint. I judge Korean restaurants by their kimchi and both the traditional and the cucumber were on point. I had the kalbi combo with the kimchi soup and both were excellent and filling (did not skimping on meat or kimchi). I like that they ask about spice level for the soup. Service was excellent and appreciated the free tea to help digest all the delicious food I ate. Place is really casual and relaxed and I did not feel rushed during my meal. Will definitely come again.

Highly recommended Korean restaurant. Excellent food and service. You feel so welcomed. Lastly, price is very reasonable. The Signature beef Galbi soup and the organic tofu soup is amazing. They served it hot and still boiling. And they give you tons of complimentary side dishes like kimchi, cucumber salad, potato salad, japchae and many more.

Wasn't that busy. Kept asking for my chapchae. Staffs are super friendly and nice. I'm a party of 4. Foods came out one by one in between of every 15 mins I thought that kinda odd. I guess they try to accommodate every tables there. So foods are slow by the time I'm having my entree my bf he already done with his meal I'm the last one to finish of 4 ?

First time here at Zip Tofu and Grill, brought an out of town guest for lunch yesterday. This restaurant is big and spacious. Servers were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Thank you Mabel! Waitress and other staff always checked on our table even though restaurant was full and it was really busy. Didn't care much for the yellow corvina but the oyster and tofu soup and clam and tofu soup were very good. The teriyaki chicken was good too. We'll be back!

Ordered signature beef galbi tofu soup and beef combo with seafood tofu soup. Portion is reasonable with side dishes. The only problem was that the shrimp in the seafood soup was not fresh. But the service was excellent. After notified the manager of the shrimp, he gave a 20% off discount. Even without the discount, it's $40 for 2 persons for dinner. Will definitely come back!

Good was very tasty and the spice was spot on. Seafood pancake was not as expected. Should provide descriptions for their appetizers. Service was good - very attentive. Highly recommend!

They did not honor our 8 person reservation. They didn't even bother calling to let me know. Just said they hadn't seen the reservation. Then after I complained they canceled it. 8 people all drove there to eat and their time was wasted. So unprofessional, do not book here.

The food was delicious! The staff was very friendly. There was no wait time when we went. The food is fresh.

Great sushi, we went with the sushi boat special, perfect for 4 people, and we had 2 vegetarians that had options also. Everything was very fresh, and a friendly staff. No liquor license, they just opened, but they let us bring bring in a bottle from a nearby store and put it on ice for us.

Great experience from start to finish. The staff was very attentive, the owner? Kept checking on us and even brought over the chefs for us to meet. The interior is very clean and well kept. Sushi was good. Keep up the good work!!

More people should go to this place. The staff were very friendly, even though we had two small kids with us. Food is about as close to going to Japan as you can get and that is coming from someone who ate sushi at tsukiji market.

The staff was very welcoming and gracious--they really went above-and-beyond to make the experience great. The dining room is very nice and the sushi very good. I would highly recommend.
